Kevin fell asleep and by the time he called me we were leaving.  Brent is out of town so won't be seeing him.

Oh, then I guess Brent is finished doing CHICAGO.

He's on tour with it, I think.

Seriously?

DR TCB your cake sounds yummy.  Did you make it?

No, I bought just one slice at the Safeway Bakery.  If I made a cheese cake, I would have eaten a cheese cake.

Smart move.  I hope you aren't having your cholesterol checked tomorrow.;)

When I sailed on the Norwegian Nightmare Dream they served cheese cake one night for dessert.  I said, "Is this real New York cheese cake (we were in South America)?"

The waiter very indignantly assured me that it most definitely was New York Cheese Cake.  It turned out to be Royal Gelatin Chiffon-style cheese cake, complete with graham cracker crust.

And people wonder why I won't travel on Norwegian again.

Yuck.

I spent the first part of my evening watching the two-hour PROJECT RUNWAY DESIGNERS' CHALLENGE.

Nice to see most of these folks again, and each of them did some quality designs though to be honest, I didn't think anyone had four solid looks in his collection.

As for the winner, I would have reversed first and second place and I would have reversed third and fourth place. But I did think those four had the best collections.

I liked Uli's dresses the most, but there was NO color, and it needed color.

Then I watched tonight's TRUE BLOOD. I was furious with Sam being so stupid as to be fooled by that ridiculous phone call. And there was probably a bit too much silliness in the resolution that led to Sam's escape.

Still some good thrills and moments, and always a pleasure to see Ryan's body. Sam looked really good in that apron as well.

Thank you all for the thoughts for my me and my family. I spoke to my father and I know he would had gone to the funeral, but he is not well enough to travel. More and more of his contemporaries; family & friends are passing away and he is still hanging in there. I know this is very distressing to him

I found out tonight that my best friend's husband is losing his battle with cancer.  He's been fighting valiantly for the past year with what started as bladder cancer.  On his last trip to Mayo, they discovered that it has now taken over his liver and moved to his lungs.  They said there is nothing more they can do for him and he only has a few weeks to live.  Very sad news.
