Well, you've read the notes, the notes were crusty, and how it is time for you to post until the crusty cows come home.

FJL, please e-mail me the exact address of the theater.

If I may "intrude"...

The name of the theatre - 59E59 - is also the address of the theatre: 59 E. 59th Street. (North side of the street, between Madison and Park)

The only good thing about it still being sooooo hot in LA is that the longer it stays warm, the better chance we have of having a cold holiday season.   I would really like it not to be 90 degrees at the end of December.    I'm not in the mood for flamingos and palm trees this year.  I need pinecones and snow flakes for decorations.

Good Evening!

And, yes, I too am back from a lovely gathering at Chez L&K - or Chez K&L if you prefer reverse alphabetical order.

I really have nothing else to add to the praise that's already been heaped upon our hosts, and Skip's wonderful dinner.  It really was a wonderful soirée, and a(nother) delicious dinner.

Thank You, Skip. Thank You, Fred. Thank You, Toby. Thank You, Dylan.

After parting ways with DR Rodzinski and our very own bk at the corner of 45th & 9th Avenue, I continued walking up 9th Avenue, and as I walked I made a couple of phone calls to my brothers and my parents.

I've been trying to figure out what and where I was going to celebrate my birthday on Wednesday.  I was really hoping to do what I did last year: just walk the city and meet people along the way.  But when my brother, Jay, was able to fly back East this week for some vacation, we had started planning some sort of joint birthday celebration for me and my brother's girlfriend.  Well... I thought they were planning something.

My mom was thinking of having everyone - all four boys, and the nieces and nephews (grandkids) - get together Wednesday night on the actual day of my birthday in Richmond.  Well... It turns out my brother, Mike, is flying to Vegas tonight for a work assignment, and he won't get back until Thursday night.  So, after making a bunch of phone calls, we'll all be getting together Friday night in Fairfax.  -And I can still do my own celebration on Wednesday here in NYC. :)  -Then I will head down to Richmond with my parents Friday night, and head back up to DC on Monday, then back to NYC on Wednesday.

It's so nice to have a plan now. :)

Great pics.

Well, I must admit I'm officially excited now about this move to Blu-ray.com.  My first review is live, no one has complained about it yet ;), and I just ordered a supercool Sony Soundbar for my bedroom HT environment which should give me quasi-surround sound with no wires.  I of course will have a "real" surround system for the downstairs home theater environment which will be dedicated solely to reviewing.

DR Michael S - "Pink Fish", as was previously mentioned, was written by Alan Menken.  It's a song from his piano bar days.  It was "resurrected" a couple of years ago when he contributed it to a revue of his songs that was being presented by some students at NYU. It's now published in "The Alan Menken Songbook".

Did I miss the Two's Company dvd,  I thought I emailed bk for a copy.  Maybe I just starred at the signed poster on the wall and thought I did.

TOD - Skips Blueberry pie may have been the best pie I have ever eaten - a close second would be the Sakatoonberry Pie we had last August at the Berry Barn in Saskatoon.
