Gee, George, soon you may augment your resume with:

Singing, dancing, disembodied human organ.

Somehow it seems to fit.

der Brucer

I must remember to put that in my bio.

I watched Cleopatra (with Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton) the other night.   I'll take the palm fronds.

DR Michael S - As for the coverage of the death of Dominick Dunne... I'm guessing you haven't read the articles and blogs on the NYTimes' site, nor on Vanity Fair's site.  He's surely being given his due, and by the people who truly knew him and appreciated his work.  Ellie Greenwich will also be remembered "properly".  We can't all make the lead story of the 11:00 news.

The LA Brain was the best costume, but unfair to the actor to be completely covered.

Well, the sparkling wine I had earlier - an Elio Perrone Bigaro (54% Brachetto, 46% moscato) - seems to be doing its thing...

Goodnight.

Well, in some cases the audience is better served by a completley covered actor than a completley uncovered actor. Maybe they could do it like Oh, Calcutta! A completely covered Brain until the finale when the sheet somes off and we see him as his Mother bore him.

Umm...if I get the role of The Brain, that's a no.

And AOL is carrying the story on its HomePage just below the lead Kennedy story:

Author Dominick Dunne Dies at 83

Thank you, I was trying to find out what state someone lives in when they are in a show.

Well, I MUST be at a demo for work at 10:00 a.m., so I need to go now, too.

Good night, Sam and Der Brucer.

DR Jane - thanks so much for updating us all on the situation with the housing in FL.

I don't trust the slimey guy one iota, but it comforts me that if he DOES do any work, it is likely to be with the authorities looking over his shoulder to make sure it is done properly.

~~~PROMPT AND SATISFACTORY RESOLUTION VIBES~~~
Good morning, all! I had to be up at 6 this morning to be at the McGlinnventory by 9; I have a long day, and it could be even longer if George shows up to do the work today. I've got to see my tax man about a curious document I received yesterday from the NY State Income Tax people, then a meeting with the conductor about the Life Begins at 8:40 scores, a lot of work on Brent's album - if I'm not tidying up the apartment from George's work, and I hope to get to see BK tonight. It all depends on the previous situations.
