Someone with too much time on his hands needs a job.

I posed and photographed it myself, too!!!        ;)

No word from George; if I knew another carpenter, besides Karen and Richard, I would hire him ASAP.

Also, no word from Jeff Saver.

If you were a carpenter, you'd hammer in the morning.  But only if you lived next door to BK.

Guilty Pleasure Department:  Betsy and I stayed up until midnight last night watching a show I stumbled across on A&E--Hoarders.  Has anyone here seen it?  The best part?  Betsy, who has shall we say a....."clutter" problem immediately went out and began madly cleaning the kitchen afterwards.  :)

;D  I should watch this show.

The cloest to a normal night of sleep that I've had in two months. It was 7 hours (though the last hour was kind of restless). And I feel ever so much better this morning. I haven't even had the hand cramps in my right hand that I have endured the last week or so. I am very eager to tell this good news to my therapist today. COuld this be my last visit? I truly hope so!

Good news and good luck, Matt!!

The therapy session was super easy because I was basically pain free, so I got a deep tissue massage and some stretching and that was all. However, I go back next week, I suspect for my last session, I think just to make sure the "cure" is continuing.

If I were you and massages were part of my physical therapy regimen, I would try to continue those as long as possible. ;)

I would too, without the wink.  Every other week would be better than suddenly stopping.

Be careful--some of them are very disturbing, and I know one of them last night would have been for you particularly.  A lady who hoarded cats (and a few dogs).  I had to cover my eyes for a great deal of the episode because she had been doing it for so long and he house was in such disarray that they were finding dead animals (and skeletons) by the score.  So sad.

BK, do you seriously think that your future neighbors to be, actually instructed the construction crew of their new house to do as much as possible to drive the neighbors crazy?  If I was having a house built by a professional construction company, I would assume (yes, an ass out of me) that they would conduct themselves in such a way so as to disturbe the neighbors as little as possible.  Maybe that makes me naive.

Well, they don't care much about the neighbors, that much I can tell you.  The buck has to stop somewhere, I think, and if I were having this work be done I would have instructed the crew to do what was necessary to keep at least the talking level down, and I would NOT let them work on Saturdays or holidays, even if it meant I got into the house a few weeks later.  I would also have introduced myself to the neighbors and apologized in advance for any disturbance.  I would not have had heavy trucks trampling on their lawns and breaking sprinkler heads and sprinkler pipes, and, when presented with the bill for fixing same, I would not have taken seven weeks to pay them.  But that's just me.

TOD:

With this week's release of the remastered Beatles collection already on my mind, I think I would choose to be at the recording sessions for either SGT PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND or The White Album.

I hope you like the smell of pot.

Good afternoon.   I went to the office to do a couple quick things and ended up staying about 4 hours.  Such is life.  I am home now and glad to be here

I'm having a bit of a hard time today. I'm tired, but I'm also a bit down and short tempered.  I realized while I was at the lake how much time I really spent with Steve and alot of the fun things I did with both Gretchen and Steve. I'm really going to miss him.   I spent so much time being strong for others I didn't take time to grieve myself.  I think it's just catching up with me.

FJL evidently visited my bathroom last night.  Our sink is now leaking.

Well, at least he washed up before leaving.

"Divorce Barbie" is supposed to have Barbie with a new wardrobe and everything that every Ken has come with.

Wasn't there a recent two-for-one sale with Barbies?  You could buy a Ken and he would come with a Barbie.  But Barbie would come only with G.I. Joe.

I thought Ken only came with G.I. Joe?

BK, I realize that today isn't Wednesday (I don't think it is), but I need to ask a very stupid question.  Am I correct in assuming that Brent's Holiday album will be a Kritzerland release?

Assuming the answer is yes; any chance of getting some of the copies autographed by the WSMA (and you, of course)?

My September book group pot luck was fun.  Most everyone enjoyed the book.  We all would have liked more character development.  We all enjoyed the history lesson of the island of Guernsey and its German occupation during the war.  The story is told completely with letters which we all found charming.

Even though my toffee cookies were a bit hit I still have plenty left to take to a friend tomorrow who is recovering from surgery.
