Sunday afternoon greetings!  We are back from Lima and Richard is napping.  I slept in the car - fortunately I was not driving at the time!

Cilla, as everyone will soon see, DAW actually helped proof the book, so he read it months ago. :)

Back from some bacon and eggs at Jerry's, where I made some notes for my liner notes, which I'll probably start a draft of later.

Here's some info about the CD mentioned in the Variety article:

"The plan is to record before the end of the year.  Rebecca Luker, Julia Murney and Barbara Walsh are among those who've already said yes to doing the CD.  The music of the songs will all be by Skip, but the lyrics will be variously by Skip, Richard Engquist, Ellen Fitzhugh, Amanda Green, Ellen Schwartz and David Spencer."

I missed the article.  Thank you for sharing the info again.  It sounds very exciting.

I am very sore today.  Clearly, I should have done more walking before I decided to walk/run a 5K

I think it is great you did the walk/run.

My computer keeps freezing so I'm sure I don't have much time left for reading & posting.  I won't be catching up on the posts I missed the last few days while we enjoyed the company of Keith's cousin.

DR elmore I'm glad you saw my early birthday wishes, that the memorial was all you hoped for and emotionally rewarding.

I actually got eight hours of sleep last night. It's the first time that's happened to me in many, many weeks.

Is this due to your physcal therapy? I hope!

It mujst be all tied in together somehow, but I did have more ache and soreness on Friday and Saturday after PT than I had had since I started.

I've just spent almost forty-five minutes responding to a few e-mails.  I will only say that the creative team of the long musical are expert in pushing each other's buttons, and it mostly falls to me to be the person who has to calm the waters.  Each of them has a different personality and seems unable to stop their behavior.  It's fascinating.

Get.

Out.

Now.

I agree completely. Those kinds of people are SUCH a drain on one's energy, and I'd rather just not be bothered.

I watched Friday night's MONK episode which was a pretty good mystery. Wonderful to see Bernie Kopell still acting and Dylan Baker as the other guest star played a pompous critic rather well. (Reminded me of the critic Dean Stockwell played in an episode of MURDER SHE WROTE.)

Next, I watched the rest of the NCIS episode I had started yesterday about a serial killer trying to buy time from his scheduled trip to death row. I remember this being an easy episode to guess the accomplice, but it was still fun to see again.

Then I watched MISERY on Blu-ray. I haven't watched this in a long time, and so seeing it afresh in high definition was a treat. No bonus features on the Blu-ray at all, but also enclosed in the case is the regular DVD release with all of the bonus features.

Well that makes perfect sense then.  I've been a bit out of it with everything that's been going on here at home so I haven't always followed the posts.  Sorry if I seem a bit out of touch.

I didn't have time to watch ICE AGE 2, so I'll save that for tonight. Instead, I put in another NCIS episode so I could finish up with disc 1 for season 3. Ziva officially joins the team in this one and it's a good mystery involving a Union soldier dug up but one who had a cell phone in his casket.

Well, that was a very quick internet surf. Not much going on today. I guess I'll head down to get the bathroom cleaned, the folded laundry put away, and then back to the home theater room for ICE AGE 2 and other fun viewing.

You might.

But you must just as easily say:  Underpants.   For example.

The shoot for the book trailer went very well.  The studio had been booked for four hours, but we were able to complete what we needed to do in just over an hour.

Are there any other singers that can be mentioned?

Hello. Today I worked on the desk I'm refinishing for DGN Gabe.  I also made some tomato sauce and tended my farm on Farmtown.  Don't ask me why

It was a glorious weekend here weather wise.  There were tons of festivals and other outdoor activities, so it was great that the weather cooperated
