So has anyone watched any of the new V at all?

I haven't watched last night's episode yet. But i have watched the other 3 (because i love elizabeth mitchell from LOST).  I wouldn't say it's great. But it's certainly interesting. And if you like her, well she is on A LOT!

Oy--today is the first of the house inspections.  Pray for Rosemary's septic tank.  :)

I am going crazy trying to figure out how to export my favorites from MSN to another browser.  Of course MSN is not compatible with importing to IE.  That makes perfect sense, doesn't it, Mr. Gates?  There's evidently an "easy" way to export them to Windows Live and then to another browser, all dependent on utilizing Windows Live's "Import" feature.  Except Windows Live does not have an "Import" feature.  Oy.

No, I haven't, but if it's released on Blu-ray at the end of the season, I'll undoubtedly see it then.

DR Elmore--sheesh!  Tell whoever e-mailed you that back in the "good old days", cast recordings would generally not come out until months after a show opened.  Having a recording be available within a short time span has only been a recent phenom (probably starting with THE PRODUCERS?)

But I can sympathize --I can't wait for the FINIAN'S RAINBOW cast recording!  Will you be there at the session?

Now I'm heading downstairs to get cleaned up for lunch out later. Then, I will watch some TV while waiting for my friend John to arrive for lunch.

Thanks, DR Jennifer--I'll check for the episodes on Hulu.com.  It shouldn't take long to catch up since I think there have only been four aired for now.

DR Elmore - just tell everyone that the February release of the FR cast recording makes it the perfect Valentine's Day gift!

Good morning from Arizona, my dears.

I'm just hanging by the phone, waiting for Keith to call. Thanks for all the good vibes and healing spirit, which I will convey to our Lassners. Jane is amazingly receptive to good wishes, so alla those loving vibes and her general good health will - no doubt - speed her full recovery. Hold the good thought, send light during this surgery, see her whole and snickering that snarky snicker as she hikes her favorite paths with her dawg...

It's good to be back, kidz. I do love you.

I have done the banking and shopping I need to do.  Two of my sisters are coming over this evening to watch Miss Doris Day in ON MOONLIGHT BAY and BY THE LIGHT OF THE SILVERY MOON and eat Spam sandwiches to kick off the holiday season.

Oh that sounds like great fun, JRand! I wish I was one of your siblings!

Actually, DR Dan(the Man), Columbia and RCA could grind them out in a week in the heydays of MY FAIR LADY, CAMELOT, etc.

This emailer just likes to complain about everything, often things of which he knows nothing.

Yes, I will be at the sessions.

If they are showing holiday-like Doris Day movies while in their PJs, then for sure!

My question for ASK BK day - which actor in films now or then, do you think is most adept at playing both comedy and drama?

I will start by saying

Mr Cary Grant.

Certainly Cary, certain James Stewart and Joel McRea.

I had a big day in San Francisco yesterday.   I went to the de Young Museum to see the Tutankhamun exhibit.

It was splendiferous, with relics from many different pharaonic dynasties on display, all leading up to the Tut room.  They didn't have the funerary mask that was on the mummy, sad to say, but I guess Egypt simply doesn't want to disappoint its own thriving tourist trade.  We did have all the jewels that were on the mummy including a crown, flail and crook and knife.  There were some amazing things done with extraordinary detail.  And these were all three thousand years old.

Remind me to ask TCB how they did it.  ;)

Re the Finians recording - I asked Kevin Spirtas to put our name in the hat ages ago - I knew the producers of the show would have to raise the money for the recording - well, they obviously never even considered us, which is a real shame because if anyone had asked me at any time, I could have told them I'd have it out two weeks after it was recorded, just like I had King and I out that fast and several others.  Oh, well.  I wish all luck on the recording, though.

The surprise of the morning is that Pressure Point will be here in about forty minutes.  No one told me it was coming and I haven't even started to address packages yet.  But I will now.  I suspect these will all go out on Friday.
