Good morning, all! It's a nice chilly morning in Manhattan, and I love it. Of course, by February I'll be cursing the cold and beggng for a heat wave, but this all seems very Christmas-y to me. For now.
DR vixmom, I'm stopping by the show on Sunday and I will inquire at the concession stand about a program. I'm sure there's one in the works, if it isn't already out. The man who runs the stand is very nice and I like to talk to him. If I don't see him on Sunday, I will definitely do so on Wednesday, when I see Joshie conduct the show.
DRedisaurus, I want to see you! I would love to meet you after the show tonight, but I will be nodding by then. I'm busting my butt at the moment to drag in enough income to cover health insurance (due now) and estimated taxes (Jan 15). Can I meet you tomorrow morning on the Upper West Side for a smackerel before I head over to the NYPL?
DR MattH, I know the 1933 ALICE isn't my favorite adaptation of Lewis Carroll - give me the insanity of Disney! - but I've always had a fondness for the movie; well, it's got Edna Mae Olver and that should make anyone happy. DR Mikey was kind enough to burn me a DVD a few years ago but it's nice to know a commercial one is being released.
BK, your notes made me laugh this morning!
