Had a lovelier than lovely dinner with Miss Juliana A. Hansen.  We went to the Studio Cafe.  We had lots of catching up to do and we did it.  Then we came back here and watched Gremlins on Blu and Ray.  She had one of Laura's superb cookies and loved it, and she also had her first Cherry Ripe, which she also loved.  She's gone now and I'm relaxing.

I'd guess BLU-RAY FOR HOLLYWOOD has already been done.

I'm exhausted.  Tomorrow, other than perhaps getting the Ants booklets signed by the composer, I have nothing planned at all - I do have to do my Do shopping in the evening.

Good Evening!

Well... I got a call earlier that a couple of my friends decided to meet up at Carmine's on the UWS for a "before everyone goes out of town" holiday dinner, so... I joined them.  Needless to say, I now do not have to eat for at least another three days. -And I got sent home with the leftovers too!

*And since the waiter spilled a glass of wine while he was serving up the appetizers, they comped out dessert - chocolate chip bread pudding (sooooo good!) - and post-dinner coffees.

SOUTH PACIFIC is indeed truly lovely in Blu Ray - and I am glad I spent the $20.

How did Ken Clark look in high definition?

Does Blu-Ray still look better with your nosed pressed up against the TV screen?

again the therapist was pleased with the results.  once again he was able to stretch my arm farther than the previous visit.  again i am proud i didn't cry, though that is because my therapist is so good he knows the precise moment to stop.

:)

*Is there any special type of leash you can use with Sherlock once you're feeling a bit more mobile and secure?

For fans of "So You Think You Can Dance?"... Ryan Kasprzak will be in the touring company of Billy Elliott.  He sort of broke the news during the Gypsy of the Year competition, but now it's "official".

And speaking of the Gypsy of the Year, BC/EFA has posted a couple of videos on YouTube:

THE OFFICIAL 21ST ANNUAL GYPSY OF THE YEAR HIGHLIGHT REEL

*I'm hoping some "other" videos pop up of the whole opening number.  Alas, it looks like Ryan K's appearance during the opening sequence was pulled by "Dick Clark Productions".

And here's a taste of Christine Pedi's "And I Am Telling You" à la Lansbury, Peters, Merman et al.
