Greetings from Atlanta! Thank you for all the travel vibes...it was a great flight, not even half full do I had a whole row to myself. The only bad thing was that when I decided to take advantage of this and slid over to the window, I grabbed the armrest and sliced open my finger. There was a sharp pointed piece of metal poking out. I reported it to the flight attendant so it could be fixed before the next passenger sat there, and she realized that someone had broken off one of those dual prong adaptors for the headphones and the pointy prongs were left in the armrest. Fortunately she had bandaids.

Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, I'm glad to be home with Greg and the kitties, even if it is colder than NY!

DR Edi, maybe you should make a slight stink about this to the airline management.  I think some kind of compensation might be in order...

Does anyone know what is happening with DR DAW?!?  He even shut down his account here!

* * * * * Vibes of every kind that he might need right now! * * * * *

I second that!

I third that!  Please come back.

What a story last night from TCB.  I've never heard of anything like that happening before.  Glad you are OK.

Good morning!

I woke up with a congested head, so no walk for me in 17 degree weather. I'm taking to the treadmill today in short bursts: 4 or 5 of them throughout the day. Not ideal, but I don't want to chance anything with this cold getting any worse.

Also add my concern and best wishes for him. If he is indeed gone, he will be greatly missed, and we will be the poorer for his absence.

So far, no UPS delivery, but yesterday I got a UPS-Amazon package at 12:30, so I'm not sure what their delivery times are now.

I'd LOVE to finish CHE today and get that review posted, but if CHEAPER BY THE DOZEN 2 arrives, I feel obligated to get it done since it's already in stores for sale.

DR edisaurus, I thought you were flying out today and I haven't wished you a safe flight. I am glad you are (almost) safely home! See previous post.

TV Notes:

UGLY BETTY moves to its new Wednesday at 10 p.m. timeslot tonight! Unless ratings drastically improve, we'll be seeing its last spate of episodes this winter and spring. MODERN FAMILY, THE MIDDLE (two episodes starting at 8 ), and COUGAR TOWN are all new tonight.

Fox and the CW are taking the night off with rerun programming, but the other networks are all featuring new episodes or specials (including the PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS on CBS).

DR Dan(theMan), check your PM file!

My computer just crashed. Completely went blank, and then rebooted. I'm so glad I wasn't writing anything.

I wonder if the Percy Grainger I was playing had anything to do with it? He was a kinky guy!

I still haven't gotten to that CASTLE rerun from Saturday night and I have a new NCIS: LA from last night to watch at some point today, too. I also recorded both new episodes of BETTER OFF TED last night, and I likely won't get to them until tonight after I finish whatever disc I'll be working on.

I guess I'm done with my morning internet surf. I must get downstairs and see what the mail brings, what leisure viewing I can do before starting on today's work project (whatever that is), and fixing some lunch.

I am just happy that Cheyenne did not "chillax" in his underwear.

(Chillax being a word I wish to see fall out of use--and quickly!)

Well, I blame Percy Grainger.

DAW emailed, he doesn't want to talk about "it," whatever "it" is, but says he is fine physically and mentally.  If any of you b****es offended him, you have me to deal with.   ;)

I will say, not really vis a vis DAW but just generally, everyone really needs to think about what they post--would you say what you post to someone out loud if you were sitting next to them at a partay?  The internet, much like driving a car, gives a false sense of "protection" and a certain "anonymity," and I think it leads to a lot of misunderstandings (as well as dead pedestrians).

Thanks for the link, DR ELMORE.  Of course the first sentence is WRONG....Cheyenne was a Warner Bros. cowboy - not an MGM cowboy....even if they are talking about "the look" - name a famous MGM cowboy....from more than ONE movie.
