Time to head home.  But first, I need to get some dryer fabric softener sheets.  I finally ran out this weekend.  I bought them when I still lived in the house that I rented from my sister and I still had a housemate.  I moved out of that a little over three years ago and my former housemate moved out more than FOUR years ago, so they lasted QUITE a long time. :o

I don't do a lot of laundry.  I'm all by my lonesome...and my former housemate had his own laundry supplies.

And I got them at Costco. :D

Hmmm... Four years?  Well...

52 weeks... 1 load of laundry each week... 204 loads of laundry....

So...

Just how many dryer sheets were in that box?

And/or...

Just how much laundry do you not do?

And/Or...

How many pairs of clean underwear and socks do you have in your dressers?

::)

Mmmmm. Sonic chocolate cream pie shake.  I don't have them often, but I enjoy them when I do!

I think he has come to the sad realization that Mary gave him a wrong number on purpose.

I'm just wondering if the "contestants" who did make the teams were ever really contestants.

*And it's also a little dis-heartening to know that this is one of the shows that made Anne Burrell gave up her restaurant work.  -Which, in essence, makes her "Secrets of a Restaurant Chef" sort of a "lie".  Sort of.

Then I wrote another couple of pages, finishing the section I was in.  So, a little over ten pages today, and have already done seventy pages, which just boggles my mind.  I may end up cutting about a page - it has to do with my parents and I had the timeline of it wrong, but if I move it where it belongs it sort of gets in the way - I'll talk to muse Margaret about it and see what she thinks.  It's sort of extraneous, but it is interesting.  But it doesn't forward the story, in fact it's a detour.  It's very brief, though, and so if Margaret thinks it should stay I'll figure out a way to put it where it belongs.

I just tried the American-Pepperidge Farm version of Tim-Tams... They're pretty good.  However, they've most definitely been "Americanized".  They're a bit sweeter - even the "Dark Chocolate" variety seems a bit sweet to me.  And the cookies - "biscuits" - are crunchier, which is not such a bad thing, but that cake-ier, softer texture is part of makes the original, Australian Tim-Tams so irresistible.

They're also a little smaller - at least in width - which makes the Tim-Tam Slam a little harder to accomplish.  ::)

Maybe it is time for you to purchase that lottery ticket ;)

Trust me, DR Jane, I've been trying for that BIG jackpot.  Well, at least one of them.

Well, I'm ready for my 8:30 AM hearing.  Not sure I can make it to the courthouse, but I'll give it the old college try.  We had another 5.5 inches of snow today and now have 35-40 mph winds blowing it around.  LOL, it really is starting to be funny.  Night

What??  It was a box of 160 sheets and I have enough shirts, pants, socks and unders for a couple of weeks at a time. :D

Had a problem while watching DCF (dear corgi friend) Molly today.  Molly's mom was at work, so Skip had to get her to the emergency vet, but now that we're 100% sure she's fine and all she needed were a few stitches, i feel Ok talking about it.

On the plus side of a down situation;  We now know of a 24-hour really good (though likely not nearly covered by pet insurance) emergency vet only 13 street blocks away.  I'd always thought that if we had an off-hours emergency, we'd have to get over to the East Side somehow.  But Skip's now seen this place in action in a non-life-or-death situation and was relieved to know this was so close to us.

And they tell me tax season has begun at the tax office.

It's starting to feel like my planned January 27-29 Florida trip with my brother and sister-in-law to see my folks may be in jeopardy.

And Skip's computer is on the fritz and in the shop, so if anyone has wondered why he hasn't been on facebook the past three days, that's why.

The computer that to me looks like it could power a small city.  Somehow he packaged it and got it into a cab to Tekserve.  Skip impresses me very often, and in this case, getting that large computer and monitor to the repair place was a feat that I found impressive.
