I did watch the movie MY SISTER'S KEEPER. For some reason i had no idea that the oldest daughter from MEDIUM was the star. The promos showed Cameron Diaz and Abigail Breslin (two much bigger names).  The movie was good, but sad and a bit hard to watch at times.

having read the book i did not wish to watch the movie.  i watched some of the prievews to see the gal from medium.  now you know why her hair is short.

I had a complete and total TV episode evening tonight.

I began with last night's UGLY BETTY (which did not see any kind of ratings bump last night, sad to say).

I enjoyed the Daniel/Marc storyline very much, and Betty and Matt ending things was fine with me. I like that Betty is going to live on her own again. Hilda will need her room for a nursery.

Then I watched last night's LEVERAGE. Nice to have the show back, and it was an okay outing for its return. Neat little twist at the end that got Nate off the hook.

Next I watched another BONES episode from last season since the Blu-ray was still in the player. I watched the sad one with the murder of the Japanese girl and her policeman brother coming over to assist in the investigation. One of last season's strongest episodes.

Then I watched tonight's BONES episode. Wendall and Angela as a couple just don't fit together very well (though I do like Wendall very much as a character). The mystery was very interesting and had me completely fooled.

So, FSM announced it's latest release today.  It's a biggie and a brilliant score - Islands In The Stream by Jerry Goldsmith.  For those that buy it, you'll notice that the Kritzerland logo and my name appear on the release.  To see why, here's a link to the story:

http://www.filmscoremonthly.com/daily/article.cfm/articleID/6405/Tapes-in-a-Bottle--Islands-in-the-Stream/

Nice!  But, BK...if Paramount didn't have any tapes, how could they license it?

And I wonder what happened to the original tapes?

I ended the evening with GREY'S ANATOMY. I enjoyed the patient stories (though the woman choosing her heart valve got on my last nerve, but I'm certain that was intentional).

As usual, the cast is continually bed-swapping, always a sign to me of a series on life support. It's so sad they have to do this stuff when, for me at least, the interest is in the cases and how THEY impact the doctors, not about who the doctors are sleeping with at any given time. I was really furious with that last pairing.

Interesting post on ATC by Parker.   It took me a while to get that calling Stew "Mr. Pid" meant he was referring to "Stew Pid" but I did figure it out.

I'd rather chew glass than revisit Act 1 or chance Act 2 of PASSING STRANGE.

I was a much happier person before Mr. Pid (as a poster here once called him) came along and shit all over Broadway.

Tonight's MENTALIST scares me a little.

SPOILER

I'm not sure I like the way violence is visited on innocent bystanders in the reunion setting.

Oh, well.

Oh, well.

If you have more than one PBS station in your area, maybe one will air it at a different time (we have 3 PBS stations in our area). And you might try a search to see if the station is going to rebroadcast in the near future.

Of course, if you really want it, it'll likely be offered for sale at some point on DVD.

They can license anything - MGM didn't have tapes on The Children's Hour - once I found them, they could do the license.  Same with Paramount.  Who knows how these places lose things.

Finished with my viewing, and shall now perhaps go back and read what I wrote today.  I'm very close to finishing the chapter I'm on.
