Ginny is probably helping her mom unpack.

Not today, DR Julie.  My DN Laura is here from Illinois and I have a couple of days off.  So far I've picked up our anniversary cake at the bakery, taken down the outside Christmas decorations, and watered all my poor neglected houseplants.

I'll start the balls rolling on our story, The Errant Period.

"It was a dark and stormy night.

One of my all time favorite Peanuts cartoons features Snoopy typing atop his dog house.  His first sentence is "It was a dark and stormy night."  Lucy arrives and gives a withering critique of how awful that is, and how a good story needs an interesting character which immediately hooks the readers' attention.  Snoopy then types:

He was a dark and stormy Knight.

I have a very busy day.  I have my Blu-ray Skype staff meeting here in just  a while, then a rather odd wedding (the processional is "At Last" sung by an operatic soprano friend of the bride's--that will give you some idea of the service, LOL), and then some sort of tony dinner party at a golf club in Canby whose dress code online literally caused me LOL several times.  (NO bared midriffs--which completely blows my dress plans for the evening).

Good morning, all! I have a day at Toyland, after which I shall return here, chill out and then take myself down to Joe Allen's for dinner at 6 pm with Messrs John Vogel, William Hicks, and a young lady working with Mr Vogel on the McGlinn estate. They will attend tonight's FINIAN'S RAINBOW performance, and I will go backstage and hang out with the cast and band for a while. The good news is that on Thursday night the production was recorded for the NYPL Theatre video collection of Theatre on Film and Tape.

This is my day. Now I have to make the bed and tidy the apartment. Heigh ho the glamorous life!

HURRAH!!! Willit be availabel to the public?  I would so like to see it again

JMK I just looked at your house listing - you have two huge storage rooms?!!! I dream of such luxury!!

Literally - I have often had dreams of opening a hitherto unknown door in the basement and discovering I had acres of storage space within.

No need for a JRand interpretation here - one look at my home environment easily explains all

Three, actually--look at the floorplan again and you'll see they just listed the big basement room as "Utility Room."  The actual washer/dryer/furnace/water heater take up only around 1/3 of that space and the rest is--yep--storage.

I think your storage space is bigger than my actual house - all three stories combined

Not really--the "first" room behind the basement bedroom is really kind of an adjunct to that bedroom--if you look it's actually where the closet is.  And that "second" store room behind that is basically a glorified, finished crawl space.
