Joshie thinks he wants to go outside. Let's see how long that lasts.

Just looked online.  I only see 2 snow make-up days on the calendar.  it has to be really bad for Sioux city to cancel and they have cancelled a couple times, at least.   They'll just have to extend the school year if they don't have enough days

It is pouring rain.

Remember not to drive through a wash when there is water present :)

That is deeply ingrained, Cillaliz.

I thought so, it's the first thing I thought of when I read "it's pouring" and I've been gone for about 17 years now

But we'll read in the paper about people needing to be rescued tomorrow.

Earlier this evening, I attended a duo vocal recital that was presented at Carnegie Hall as part of the Marilyn Horne Foundation's "The Song Continues..." series.  On tonight's bill was a soprano and a baritone, Nadine Sierra and Edward Parks.  Both had very good voices, and presented some varied material.  It was a nice recital, and only a $5 ticket to boot!

*The biggest highlight of the recital for me was when Marilyn Horne came out on stage at the beginning of the recital to introduce the singers.  :)

I finished The Great Imposter and just wrote one additional paragraph - I'd left out the little story of Cindy's falling in love with the line "stunk co*k" and how she kept adding it into every line of hers in that scene.
