Nothing ever interferes with my weekend, Mrs. Rittenhouse, and I'll thank you to mind your own business.

It's worse than I thought.

Janet Allen of the IRT has lost her mind.

I'm up, I'm up.  Sky is blue, as it was yesterday, although it was quite chilly yesterday, and it probably will be today.

NEXT TO NORMAL at 3PM. Maybe it will make some people I've been working with seem more sane.

After seeing Betty White sitting in the audience last night, I realized why they called it the SAG Award.

I will have last night's CASTLE episode to watch while I eat lunch.

The only speech I'm interested in hearing from the SAG awards is Jane Lynch's acceptance for the GLEE cast (and to see the very cute cast together and thrilled with their success). So, I'll be able to delete that from the DVR relatively quickly.

And I love that Cory Monteith ("Finn" - a.k.a. @frankenteen), posted this PIC last night after he got home from the awards.  ;)

Edi, I’m so sorry you had to deal with the horrible producer at any time, let alone when you are emotionally extra vulnerable.

For those DRs in NYC who may be looking to stock up on some books, Skyline Books in Chelsea - across the street from Academy Records on 18th Street - is closing at the end of this week/month.  They're discounting all books 75%-off starting today.

Most everything is in repeat mode tonight on TV. Yes, NBC is showing exhibition performances from the national championships, CBS has a line-up of reruns from its popular crime drama catalog. ABC has expanded Extreme Makeover to two hours and pushed the DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES rerun back to 10.

Of course, there are some new shows on cable including a new BIG LOVE on HBO.

But basically, the pickins are slim tonight if you're not a sports fan.

But if you're a Jane Austen fan, the new version of "Emma" starts tonight on PBS' "Masterpiece Theatre", er, I mean "Masterpiece Classic".

R.I.P. Earl Wild

I believe his version of "Rhapsody in Blue" along with selections from "The Gershwin Songbook" was one of the first LP's I ever bought.

Back from Xeroxing, delivering, and a sandwich, and am more than a little nauseated that we are still on page two.

Emma Samms was such a poor substitute for Pamela.....I didn't mind Jack coming in for Al Corley (after awhile) - but the most insufferable character for me was Pamela Bellwood's.

Oh, boy, do we agree on that! I think she's a lousy actress, and her character was always so droopy and in need. I despise every scene that she's ever a part of.

I watched a few minutes of it on TCM-HD. Looked very nice in HD, by the way.

Funny. Still, I'm delighted with the success of the show. It's too bad it couldn't have been a tie with MODERN FAMILY since I love that show so much.

Yes, I know, but good grief! Enough with the remakes of all these Austen "already-filmed" stories. There should be a BUNCH of classics out there that haven't yet been filmed.

When I was waiting for lunch to cool, I scanned quickly through the SAG awards to listen to Jane Lynch's acceptance speech for the GLEE cast. What a classy lady and a great, down-to-earth speech. Loved it.

As I was eating lunch, I rewatched the top two ladies' long programs again at the national championships. Both were well skated and very enjoyable. They certainly deserved the top two spots and the trip to the Olympics.
