AS BRIEF AS A STRING BIKINI

Well, you've read the notes, the notes were brief, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're currently trying to fit into their string bikinis, which looks udderly ridiculous.

Whew! Back from a long visit with DF Susan and her DH, who went with us to see Cowboy Envy in Redondo. The performing arts center there was packed...hundreds of people, and most of them older than us! That was nice because they knew so many of the songs and they made us feel like youngsters. They sold lots of CDs at intermission---the line was so long that they had to continue after the show and had another long line then.

We knew it was a good sign as we went in and people were being turned away. They put on a great show!

I had worked with my composer right up until the last minute so we had dinner afterwards and then dished a lot. Now time to collapse!

bk, hope you can go tomorrow!

DR Cillaliz...this story continues to evolve into something more tragic every day. That is beyond sad to leave 5 kids behind. Vibes to her family.

She's Themis (lady justice) not the Statue of Liberty, but I like the idea that it's not clear. People see who they want to see.  Some have even laughed and said it's me,

Something woke me up today that sounded like someone moaning or making some sort of a strange sound.  It ended when I woke up...I think it may have been me snoring...good grief!

It's kind of nice to be up so early on a Saturday. I have time to relax a little bit before I start a busy weekend

Good morning, all! I will very shortly take a taxi to Toyland: I have a pile of photocopies to trim on the paper cutter and I need to check out some LADY OF THE SLIPPER manuscripts. The sooner I am there, the sooner I can return to face three days' worth of mail and packages. Tonight I'm seeing a play with my drummer friend Chris.

Now, here's the Big Question: where the hell is DR TCB? I've had no crazy emails in the past few days and he hasn't posted here. Is he okay?

Does anyone have his phone number? If so, perhaps someone should call and check on him.

I decided to watch WHITE COLLAR last night (i love this show), which says something since i chose it over MEDIUM and GHOST WHISPERER.

The leads work so well together. And i love the quirky Maz (sp?). So funny!

Greetings from Toyland!

I am coming down with a cold, and I just canceled the play with Chris tonight. I think I caught it from the recycled air on the train to or from DC. I felt great until this morning. Now I'm stopped up, my throat is getting sore and I am not amused by any of this.

I don't know, but we had a lot of the staff of life last night---half a dozen exotic cheeses because our friend was expecting another friend to stop by, a Frenchman who is very particular about wine and cheese. We tried out some really interesting ones. Some pretty smelly but tasty!

Our, and our DF loved the band last night and decided to go see them again tonight, too. bk met our friend Susan when we all dined at Ghengis Cohen back when I was editing the Brain video. That must have been awhile ago!

Good morning!

Well, we did get our "wintery mix," mostly sleet from the looks of it, and it's still sleeting but it's a very fine sleet . They're calling for 3-5 inches of sleet and snow by the end of the storm. I'm just glad to be nice and snug inside my own house. And, no, I did not get to do my walk today nor will I tomorrow since it's going to be bitterly cold and nothing is going to melt until Monday.

Wasn't 40 POUNDS OF TROUBLE yet another remake of LITTLE MISS MARKER? I saw it on Saturday Night at the Movies eons ago, and that's what I remembered about it. But I may be mistaken.

Today I'll be working on BARNABY JONES - The First Season. It was a midseason replacement, so only 13 episodes were filmed for the first season. Haven't seen the show in decades, and I'm not sure I ever saw the first season, so these episodes should be fun.
