and of course  there was always Dr Seuss

I may have told this story before, but there ya go.  Betsy's brother is a film editor in L.A. and was working at some place in West Hollywood and we met him at a nearby restaurant for lunch.  Gabe was a toddler and was getting restless and I said I'd take him for a walk.  As we toddled around the corner we passed this EXTREMELY peculiar looking old woman, all dressed in black and with her hair just pulled back in the tightest bun you could imagine.  As I continued down the street we went by a similarly peculiar stucco house, all weird curves and with no 90 degree angles in sight.  I came back to the restaurant a few minutes later and was talking about the lady and the house and our waitress said I had actually passed Mrs. Theodore Geisel and the weird stucco house was where she lived!

No late afternoon UPS deliveries so it looks like tomorrow's work disc will be HUNGER.

I am tired.  I have started a big rant twice but deleted both of them before posting.

No, it's tomorrow.  I think it will go very well.  I'm just in a funky mood.  I'm very happy I have friends who want to come from out of town to go to it, I just hate the fact that with all the other things I have to do, I also have to clean the house well enough for overnight guests.   I feel bad complaining about it. I'm just tired

On the good side, when this is over, my house will be much cleaner and the office is now done.

I have heard that cleaning is therapeutic. If that's true, why don't people pay you to clean your house?

Back from a nice birthday dinner.  I think I'll look over what I did earlier.  I made a couple of changes for stupid reasons and now I'm regretting doing them.  If I go into Time Machine I'm sure I can retrieve the three paragraphs I nuked.

I don't know if DR TD's Borders store does this, or if it's a national thing, but I have stopped getting the monthly emails telling me when I have Borders Bucks.  Luckily I knew I had some for February and just went and checked online and sure enough they're there, but no email.

Just looked in Time Machine and it's there.  But after reading it, I think it's fine having taken them out.
