This post puts us tied with the all-time record low number, so one more and we'll be free of that burden.

I'm going to hop off-line now and get some writing done before heading downstairs to bed.

Good night!

Very lonely and empty indeed.  It's downright sickening.  This will not do, I'm afraid and something better change pronto (otnorp, spelled backwards) or I will bitch-slap every single errant and truant person from here to eternity and hell and back.

We just used Netflix's instant streaming feature to watch a straight to video knockoff that my sister in law not only was production manager for, she also assistant directed, and because someone didn't show one day, had a bit part in!  Luckily the bit came early in the film so we weren't obliged to watch the whole thing; the film was not exactly a masterpiece.  ;)

I watched this week's WHITE COLLAR. I love this show!

I do, too.  I have to catch up and watch the last two episodes tonight. :D

I'd say we'd best get a frenzy or three going.

Greetings from snowy Northern Virginia!  It's hard to tell how much snow there is from a 3rd floor window, but I'm guessing 15 inches.  And 8 to 10 more are expected today.   And here I thought I left the big snowstorms behind when I moved from Buffalo!

Apparently my nieces and nephew who live in Fairfax are already sick of all the snow... And so are my brothers.  ;)

Do you need to separate tags with commas on YouTube?

I don't remember about the tags, but I would think commas would be necessary

I'm very antsy.  I'm now so used to doing some writing at night - it's weird not to.  I may just have to start the Hofstetter book - I know me when I'm in this mode - it's why I started the short story book directly after writing Rewind and, I think, Deceit.

Tonight I rented and watched Inglourious Basterds and The Hurt Locker.  I liked Basterds more than I thought I would, but neither is really my cup of tea.

Well, we've had our first learning experience with YouTube.  I compressed the video with WMV and it took forever to get on the computer, but then uploaded relatively quickly to YouTube.  However, the audio quality was horrible, like something in an echo chamber with a chorus effect.  So we deleted that and I recompressed using the MPEG codec which transferred to my computer within seconds.  However, this one is going to take close to an hour and a half to upload to YouTube.  Oy.

I'm now watching Thursday's episode of "Fringe."  This is the kind of show where attention must be paid.

So, I'm thinking of seeing Precious tomorrow or sometime this week.   It's not showing at 1:00, the time I like to go, so I may see Crazy Heart then and Precious later in the week.  I do want to see both of these movies....I still don't really want to see Avatar

I also like to see when everything falls apart. It makes it seem much more doable for an amature like me

Boy was I tired today.  This past week has been a real rollercoaster from the nerves of getting ready, the fun of the open house and then getting all wound up and angry about a case.  Whew!  I considered a nap today, but just hung out, made a roast beef, potato and carrots and the mandarin orange, pineapple, coconut, marshmallow and sour cream salad.   Real comfort food and better than the left overs I've literally been eating all week
