I guess I'll write just a bit more and then head downstairs to get an early start on MARY MOORE's final disc of episodes.

Just wanted to say that after twenty-four hours without phone, television or internet:  IT'S FRAKKIN' AWESOME TO BE BACK!
Oh, and there's twenty-four inches of snow in my yard.

Welcome back, DR td!  Did you have heat and were you able to cook?  Is everyone OK?

There's heat, there's power, there's a plowed driveway waiting to be salted.

I didn't hear the wind or rain, Kerry, as I had taken a benadryl after doing yard work and was out. Until the phone rang at midnight.

Her *really* funny routine is the Christmas story retold as a real Jewish story.  Coming soon.  ;)

Another day of sturm und drang that I cannot let myself get too bundled up in or riled up over. I gather the conductor I wanted sacked is becoming more of an ass than usual. My tombstone should read: I TOLD YOU SO.

I've completed my morning trek to Toyland, stopped at the market and now I'm working on my taxes. The movie is the new Almodovar at 5:00.

Woody's "Fine How Do You Do" was a change to his work schedule that required him to be at the store at 6AM this morning; so an hour and a half before sunrise, he set off to trudge 0.6 mile through 2 feet of snow.

DR MBARNUM have you read the June Kenney interview in Scary Monsters #73?  I ordered it today, but I sent a check since they don't have a PayPal account.

Whew DR derBRUCER, why he is always the first one they call?  Doesn't anyone else work in an emergency?

Not within walking distance. One problem establishments like Giant have is that their pay scales generally mean that employees live out of area.

Just wanted to say that after twenty-four hours without phone, television or internet:  IT'S FRAKKIN' AWESOME TO BE BACK!
Oh, and there's twenty-four inches of snow in my yard.

I LOVE your photo album, td! The most snow I've ever seen was in Maryland @ 1965. The drifts came up to the second story of our house and we had to climb out of the window, slide down the drift and dig our way back in to be able to get out of the house! The cars were lumps of snow on the street ---you had to dig down to find which was your car, and I was small enough to be able to walk on the crust of the snow without breaking through like the adults would. I was eye to eye with the street signs!

THE WORLD OF HENRY ORIENT is one of my all-time favorite Peter Sellers movies. I loved it when I was a kid, especially the part where he temporarily loses his accent, and his piano solos. And I probably identified a bit with the girls in the film.
