MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING

Well, you've read the notes, the notes said nothing, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're currently making much amoo about nothing.

Good morning, all! I need to go to the NYPL with a stop at Juilliard to make some inquiries about music in their collection. After that, I have a couple of songs to find at the NYPL and photocopy them or hand copy them. This morning I've got more tax work to accomplish.

And right now I'm watching the local news reports... And they just showed a snow-induced(?) accident along the road that the shuttle bus takes from the hotel to the theatre... It's gonna be an interesting day.

I have some Monday things today, including making my usual shopping rounds, post office to mail a SUNSHINE BOYS music/Sound FX Cd to a friend who is doing a production of same (I always save my copies of such CD's that I do for shows), and then the bank.

Jose-- What songs are they singing at these auditions?  What one song have you heard more than any others so far?

Well... It looks like today's schedule will be shifted by an hour or so... Especially since I'm still on the bus at the hotel waiting to leave for the theatre... Along with about 80 other participants...

There actually haven't been that many "greatest hits" this year, however... I shall post that information after we finish up later today.

Apparently there some sort of game yesterday, and I gather that one team won, and the other team lost.  And they said I knew nothing about sports!

Monday morning greetings!  Based on what DR Jose is telling us and what I just saw on the Weather Channel, I'd better get some errands done today, because we're going to be snowed in - again - tomorrow.  Is it spring yet?

And this may have already been noted here on HHW, but...

Very sad to hear about the passing of Dame Cleo Laine.

I thought it was her husband, John Dankworth that had passed away. I can't find anything about Cleo Laine.

I heard that Cleo Laine annouced Dankworth's death at her concert.

Good morning!

Kind of gray-white sky right now, but the bad weather isn't supposed to arrive until tomorrow, so I had a nice walk this morning. It said 26 on the thermometer, but it felt warmer than that. I could have my hands out of my pockets and without gloves and they didn't feel frozen, so I'd say more like 34 or 35.

I'll be working on the next Criterion flick - HUNGER - this afternoon. Never seen it (had never heard of it). It isn't very long, so even if I don't finish all of the bonus connected with it this afternoon, I should have a nice piece of the evening to watch something fun.
