I'm up, I'm up, and dealing with no hot water - on hold trying to find out what the story is.

My guess is it's your hot water heater.  ;D

Yuh, think...Sherlock?

Woody is so popular that they asked him to postpose his scheuled Personal Day (today) and work noon to 6:30.

Tomorrow he can look forward to trying to shovel out the car so we can go to my 1:30 Dr. appointment.

I hope it doesn't take Woody to free the car as long as it took Craig.

Back from 2 sets of errands.  In the first set, I went to our local Vera Bradley enabler retailer for a birthday present for Mary Linda and to the grocery.  Came home, had lunch, got ML's present ready to mail, and went back out to the post office to get it on its way - hope she gets it by Thursday (her birthday).  We can now be snowed in for a few days.

Happy Birthday Mr James Dean who played basketball on the Fairmont Indiana High School team.
This is the picture I meant to post.  Mr Dean in his underwear is not everybody's cup of tea.

Me, too!

Another frustrating NYPL day as well as the same with the Juilliard library. The Manhattan School of Music was very accommodating and I guess I'll see them on Wednesday.

Does anyone here use http://castalbumcollector.com ?  You can make a profile and create lists of all the musical theater recordings/DVDs you own and you can even make a wishlist.  I've created a wishlist of the CDs that I'm certain were among what was stolen from my garage last summer (my screenname is georged555) and when I've replaced them, I mark them as owned.  Anyway, for the last couple of days, I can't get to my wishlist!  It shows the number of titles in my list and if I search a specific title, I can see that it's in my wishlist, and I can even move titles to and from my wishlist, but I can't get to the whole thing.  Does anyone else have this problem...if anyone else uses http://castalbumcollector.com/

I shall return... Again...

Laters...

Jose-- What songs are they singing at these auditions?  What one song have you heard more than any others so far?

According to the Dear Wife: Mama Says, Run Freedom Run, Millie, and Lippa's Wild Party, with Lippa leading by a few lengths.  Neverland, by Scott Alan is this year's Astonishing.

Young performers shooting themselves in the foot by choosing unwise songs; I can't stand it

My friends on the board of the grantwriters group sent me some lovely flowers  today - it really looks like 2 different arrangements, depending on the angle:

Well, all NBC shows will be once the Olympics start.

Before I headed out for lunch, I had time to watch a couple of shows. I began with last week's THE OFFICE. Itr was an OK outing for the show. Jim and Pam had some funny stuff. And Kathy Bates as guest star promises a grand bitch if she continues to appear.

Then I rewatched a MODERN FAMILY episode which was one of the reruns that ABC aired last night. My DVR is on SeasonPass so it recorded all of them, but the only one I wanted to see again was the Fitzbo episode which, I believe, is my favorite episode of the series so far. And I laughed so hard all over again, almost as if I had never seen the show before.
