Jeanne, I would have yelled at the masseuse to stop if he couldn't be gentle.

Richard and I are totally hooked, too, and I'm REALLY enjoying these Olympics now that I'm retired and not having to get up early.  A couple of thoughts:

Was mogul skiing invented by someone who had to ski on a really crappy course?

Did the designers of the Canadian short-track speed skating suits intend for the skaters to look like they'd sat in something?

I think the Canadian short-track speed skating suits look like they are wrapped in saran wrap or they forgot to take off the protective plastic covering

I've been home watching it all.  I'm not feeling that great, but I think I was just exhausted and am recovering - no biggie. I do have to work a little tomorrow even though we're closed.  I plan to watch as much as possible this week.

Work session was almost two hours longer than it was supposed to be, but we got it all done.  I'm exhausted already.  I've also entered another fifty pages of corrections and will continue tomorrow.

I was going to send the team some Imodium.

I had such a wonderful evening of viewing. I enjoyed everything I watched.

I began with the sappy but appealing (to me) P.S. I LOVE YOU on Blu-ray. Not a stellar Blu-ray transfer, a tiny bit soft for my taste, but the sound was nice, and the parade of handsome men (Gerard Butler, Harry Connick, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Dean Winters) is always appealing.

I had three good cry sessions during this two hour film.

I've been wanting to rewatch UP on Blu-ray for weeks and weeks, and I finally had the time to do it. Laughed and cried and had the best time revisiting it.

Then I put in RANCHO NOTORIOUS. No, I didn't buy the commercial release. I had recorded it off TCM to a DVD-R some time ago, and put it on to watch. Only got about 45 minutes in, but I like the film despite lots of lapses. I understand Dietrich and Fritz Lang fought all the time during the production.

I've got MAKE WAY FOR TOMORROW all cued up and ready to watch tomorrow. That'll be my work project. Doesn't look to have a ton of bonus material either, so I may be able to sneak in a movie tomorrow night since CHUCK isn't on. '24' is on so I'll watch that about 10 or 15 minutes after it starts.

They were calling for wintery mix weather for us tomorrow morning. It was so beautiful today that it seems impossible that this is going to happen now.

Ahhhhhhh, now I understand.  The evening's telecast of the Olympicas has started here now.  I sure didn't notice the plastic pants on the male skaters last night, but I sure see the safety pants on the women.

I am greatly enjoying FLIGHTS OF FANTASY, DR JRand. I've gotten to the TV years now which I was really looking forward to, but I had no idea the radio version had such a complex history.

Ugh - we're listening to the forecast of the 3rd major snowstorm for us in 10 days.  Somehow I suspect we won't make it to the Shrove Tuesday pancake dinner in Lima.

To me it looks like they have plastic on. Like the covering over something when you buy it

The weather here is horrible.  We only had an inch or two of snow last night but the winds were so bad today that there were 35-40 cars in many accidents on I-29 just south of town.  They have closed the interstate from Omaha NE to the IA/SD border. We're supposed to get snow tonight and the winds will keep up through the day tomorrow.   I really do have work to do at the office even though we're closed, I'm hoping I can get to the office.  If I can't, I can do the research and most if the writing without my file, but it would be easier to do it there

Oh, I won't.  My office is about 3 miles from here. The streets are all residential and well protected from the wind.  So, I should be able to get there. They haven't even closed school here yet.  It's out in the country that you can't see anything.  My guess is school will be closed.  Some towns around here have missed more than 10 days of school already and they only allow for about 2.  As my mom says, the kids will be in school until the 4th of July!

I really like the national anthem of the Netherlands.  I'm glad NBC is showing more than just the USA medal winners.  I know they won't show them all, but that was nice to see.
