It will probably end up okay (especially because i am icing it). But i looked up details online. And they said for very small pans/like muffins you can fill the batter to the top. Mistake!

Oops.  I hope you don't have a big mess in the oven to clean up.

Today I am going to the winter carnival in my area. There will be horse drawn carriage rides, sled-riding, toffee on the snow (my fav), big blow up thingies for kids to jump in!

What the heck is toffee on the snow?

OH! I think that's like when you boil maple sap/syrup and then drizzle it on some snow.  It becomes like "brittle".  YUM!

*And when you dip them in chocolate, it's like Sarments du Médoc.

Happy Valentine's Day to those who celebrate.

Since you have a wonderful partner like Ant, you had better celebrate it!

Sunday afternoon greetings!  We had a smooth trip to Lima and back and now I'm about to go pay my Mom a Valentine's Day visit.  We're expecting another 6-9" of snow tonight and tomorrow, so I'll have more time to visit with y'all when we're snowbound - again.

Yep, we do and we will.

We will be going out to our favorite Chinese restaurant for dinner and some pistachio ice cream and then we will continue the celebration at home.

Had some nice phone calls this morning, but I didn't get to watch anything before lunch because I was on the telephone.

I did watch PSYCH while I ate lunch. Funny episode but the mystery was SO easy, and I was really disappointed they didn't do more with the gangster character that Shawn and Gus helped to prove innocent.

Then I watched my work project disc of the day - REVANCHE on Blu-ray. Not quite as superb an HD transfer as yesterday's HUNGER, but it looked OK. Sounds was nice. I enjoyed the movie just as much the second time around. This deserved its Academy Award nomination as Best Foreign Film last year. It's a fine film.

Checked out the bonus material. All was in HD: the interview with the director and the trailer were in 1080p. The other features were in 1080i.

I had time to watch two Charlie Brown specials. Since I didn't record it off TV this week, I watched BE MY VALENTINE, CHARLIE BROWN. This was one of the 1970s specials, and they're just not as good as the earlier ones done in the 1960s. I haven't watched this in awhile, so I was pleasant to revisit it, but it was not one of the better specials.
