Well, you've read the notes, the notes were fixed, and now it is time for you to post until the fixed cows come home.

Good morning, all! Today and tomorrow I will be tied up with this arrangement for Gary Beach for the Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS benefit on Monday night. I got involved through Joshie, who recommended me, and he's still waiting for his chart to arrive - it's still being routined - to begin it.  I will jump online occasionally to check emails and to catch up here, but it's a long chart - 240 measures, and I've got a lot of things yo attend to.

DR Ben, tell Ant I wish him great success with the auditions. Perhaps this weekend I can see the two of you and pick up someCDs?

ASK BK

The two plays you recorded (Beyond Therapy and Copenhagen)....

Did the actors perform then in the studio as there were done on stage or did they just stand in front of a mic? If it was the latter how did you decide where to place their voices on the recording

No one's going to play the "Evaline McCook" game? I've got a sparkling prize waiting for the winner.

DR Cillaliz, i don't remember what jamie sale said about another team using the same song she used. But i don't think she said anything negative about it.

Interestingly enough they switched up the commentators for the men's last night. They had elizabeth manley (women's skater who won silver in calgary). But they kept david pelletier (pairs gold medalist).  HE is not bad, although slightly cocky. And he also sometimes says words incorrectly (he's french).

DR Jane there were 2 chinese pairs as DR Cilla said. So you have to watch all the way through to see who was 2nd!

Yesterday they also had the women's cross snowboarding. Thrilling yet scary. There was huge fog. And both canadians (including one of the favorites) went down on their first qualifying run. They were saying they were gonna cancel the second run (meaning that both canadians would be out).  But luckily they had the 2nd run.

Then came the fun part (they race the qualifications individually). But after they go down in 4s. It is really thrilling to watch.

I never cheer for people to go down. But I will say i was not unhappy that the 1st and 2nd qualifiers were not in the finals. It was a pretty thrilling final. My niece called after screaming. She is turning into a big fan. I think that was the first canadian gold she saw live (she was sleeping during the other).

What game is that, DR Elmore?  I haven't seen you mention the song here for a while...

Question for BK:

If you were to do a remake of GUYS AND DOLLS on film today, who would you cast in the four leads?

Whew....well two of the three American men skated a clean short program.   We shall see what happens in the long skate tomorrow night.

The one I like best, did the worst.....oh well.

I would still like to know why Evan Lysacek looks like one of the clowns from JERSEY SHORE?

All of the coverage of the Olympics last night was entertaining.....and I am amazed that the human body can endure what some of these events require.

My question for ASK BK day.....

What original movie casting that didn't happen do you think would most have made a better film?

I will just start with Carroll Baker in THE THREE FACES OF EVE.
