If you've lurked here long, John G., you'll know I LOVE leopard- (or cheetah-) spotted things.

DR DRUXY.....from top left clockwise:

Mamie Van Doren, Allison Hayes, Myrna Hansen, Kathleen Hughes

Are you sure?

Kathleen Hughes and her husband, Stanley Rubin, are good friends of mine, and none of these ladies look like her.

When was the picture taken?

I just pre-ordered Andrew Lloyd Webber's latest, Love Never Dies from Dresscircle.co.uk.  Is anyone else planning on getting it?

I ordered mine a month ago.  Is that surprising?

Page Two Universal-International Starlet Dance.

Talk about Untamed Youth!

DRMBARNUM and DR DRUXY are probably the only two DR's who can name all four of these young ladies.  ;D

And I have even interviewed one of them!

DR JRand and DR Druxy, that is actually Colleen Miller, rather then Kathleen Hughes.

I'm up thanks to an endlessly ringing phone and series of calls only one of which I actually took.

Thanks, I couldn't think of her name.....DR DRUXY - I knew that you knew Kathleen and would know for sure.

It was for a Life Magazine Cover story November 8, 1954, but even though the story ran, the cover did not.

Former DR EVIL KURT is in the middle of this photo taken on the set of EIGHT MEN OUT....I am on the left and Stalker John (probably a friend of drunk Duane) is on the right.

Are you sure that the brunette standing on the right isn't Mari Blanchard?

I am thinking by '54, that Mari had already gone platinum.

At least she was in '53 in Abbott & Costello go to Mars.

In 1954, she did DESTRY for producer Stanley Rubin, and she was definitely a brunette in that one.

OMG I had forgotten about DESTRY....maybe MARS was one of those Universal hairpieces that Bud Westmore loved so much.

Evidently, the only way to get a decent lunch in Conshohocken is to climb a hill that's only slight less steep than the Matterhorn...

And why have i had this cold for like a month?  I've been sleeping practically sitting up every night!

At least for the past week i have not really had to take any meds. Although my nose still runs and i still get sinus headaches a lot. Thankfully 2 advils (cold and sinus) seem to help. So whenever it gets really bad i end up doing that (and the 2 for the day works).

Interesting Closing Ceremonies. Although I was thinking that Celine Dion was going to be on (being that she is one of the most famous canadian singers).

Tonight they are going to announce the new celebs for this season's DANCING WITH THE STARS. I thought all the names would have been leaked. But i've only seen a few (kate gosselin and perhaps pamela anderson). I am still really annoyed with the show for dumping so many of their popular professional. Apparently Kym asked for more money so they canned her too (in addition to karina, lacey and jonathan). And Dimitri won't be on this season most likely either. :(
