I'm off to Des Moines for a seminar tomorrow. It's supposed to be over 40 degrees for the first time in 93 days tomorrow.  That's a record and one I'm glad we'll soon be past.  I am concerned about all the snow melting at once, but we'll just have to deal with it.

I'm just driving down and back in one day.  Which means about 7 hours on the road for a 3 hour seminar, but it should be a nice drive, so that's ok

Cilla, SAFE & EASY TRAVEL VIBES!!

Our driveway was already melted by morning, no ice either.  This has been a very nice winter so far.  I keep expected that to change.

I also watched another newish dvd this week, ALL ABOUT STEVE, with Sandra Bullock. I really like her. And i loved her in THE PROPOSAL.

I'm not 100% sure they chose the right ending. But I really liked it. I thought she was very funny. As was Bradley Cooper (her co-star).

I believe Sandra Bullock is nominated for a Razzie for her performance in ALL ABOUT STEVE.

And a RICHLY deserved nomination it is, too. I think the movie is up for several Razzies.

SIGH!  I keep waiting for the very big package.  But not yet, not yet.  Please, Mr. Postman, or UPS man, or whoever, deliver the very big package soon.

I did manage to watch all of the remaining MATT HOUSTON episodes. And the copious guest stars continued right to the end. FOlks like Tim O'Connor, Ron Ely, Lynn Holly Johnson, Richard Anderson, Terry Moore, Joe Campanella, Denny Miller, Mark Shera, and Martin Landau.

And I watched tonight's GREY'S ANATOMY (and managed to catch up with the "live" broadcast before the hour was up.)

Again, the personal stuff is just so TIRED by now; all the bed hopping and jealousies. All of a sudden they're just SUCH a turnoff ALL THE TIME to me.

But I keep tuning in for the medical cases, and they're almost always interesting and the real reason I'm still watching this show. Some good ones this week.

So, it looks like I will be able to do THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG on Blu-ray tomorrow. I'm glad I can see it before the Oscars even though it's not being touted as being a favorite to win any of its nominations.

Time to head to my sister's place.  I need to get some paint from her for my TV room.  I have to fill and repaint some holes that I made last night, trying to put up some shelves ::) and she should have some extra paint, since it was hers to begin with.

Until later!

I only have vague memories of the TV show MATT HOUSTON....but my memories of Lee Horsley...well know, those are burned into my memory for life, thankfully!

Which reminds me, remember how in the 1970s hairy guys were considered so sexy...facial hair, chest hair, the whole deal!

And now everyone is shaved within an inch of their life! Bleck, I say!

It is even happening in Bollywood...all the formerly hairy guys like Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Akshaye Khanna are not stripped of any and all chest hair...and these three guys were like carpets of hair on their chest!

So sad.

I went to Amoeba - kind of a bore there these days.  I got a lot of credit, but only used a small portion - got two Blu and Rays and an import DVD of a very strange Peter Watkin film, Privilege.

I don't know about the Bollywood trend, but I totally agree about the Hollywood guys nowadays.  I'm not interested in pre-pubescent-looking men. :P
