And George is going to have to get a little more descriptive with his BRAIN rehearsal posts.

You don't want me to nitpick, do you??  It's just the very beginning of rehearsal and literally all we did last night was sing through all the chorus music (sight-read, actually), but we didn't work on learning the exact rhythms or notes...hopefully we will eventually, but we didn't last night. ::)

And I've been in training all day, away from my computer.  And will be again, tomorrow.

:P is what I say to that.

Now that is a little more descriptive.  You could also talk about how cute the director happens to be.

I felt very sorry for Josh during GLORIOUS.  He must have been like he was doing a show at the Senior Center.

The replacement in my sister's position started work today in our unit.

That's fantastic.  I hope the person works out well.  What happened to the job freeze?  I thought both positions were going to be left empty. Was it "only" one position?

One position was eliminated in January, 2009.  We managed to get an exception to policy for my sister's position because we are revenue producing.  Each one of us brings in approximately 3.5 million dollars a year into the state budget.

And we filled my sister's position with the guy that we lost in January 2009, so he is basically trained.

Yes...and the other cute guys in the show:  Rod, the narrator and a couple other members of the ensemble. ;)

I also enjoyed the photos of DR GEORGE's new shelves.  Very nice.  They are certainly more level than they would have been had I installed them.

Thanks!

He was riffed from our office when the position was eliminated, and he was sent back to the dreaded Welfare Office (Siberia) for the last year.

Our census came today.

As did ours.

A BIG waste of money was the letter we received last week telling us it would arrive soon. ::)

I got one of those, too.  What was the point of that?? :P

And now, I must leave work, get something to eat, then go to rehearsal.

We were shaking our heads over that one.  We keep reading how expensive the census has been-no wonder.

Well, at the home show I was given a bag advertising the census, a cup advertising the census, pens, a pad of paper, and more..... I have no idea how much was spent just on our home show.  And why?  I was disappointed.  Looking at census records for geneology research it's fun to see what people did for a living etc.  None of that is on this Census.  Just name and age and do you own a house and have a mortgage.
