Finally back from a very long book session.  Before I left to go to Grant's, I'd managed to go through the latest galley and find, I hope, all the bad breaks.  We fixed those first.  Then we chose where the sixteen pages of photos are going, then he began the task of figuring all that out.  At some point we took a dinner break and then continued.  We got eight of the sixteen pages done, and really most of the stuff that's left is Nudie, a few TV shows, a little Creature Wasn't Nice, and the Playboy stuff I did.

When I got home there was a big fire truck in front of the monstrosity next door.  I don't know what the problem was, but it's sort of amusing that the newest house in the neighborhood had some problem.  Frankly, I have never seen anyone go in or out of the house, save for one time - if that was the owner of this 1.5 million dollar monstrosity, I'd say he was about twenty-four.  There were two BMWs in the garage there this evening, and in the yard was that young man and a young gal.

I am watching the 1926 silent film THE MAGICIAN starring Alice Terry and Paul Wegener. It is quite good.
