Well, no one can say we didn't get to page three.  And if we don't have one more post, I care not.  If this is where we're going then this is where we're going and I'm down with it, I'm jiggy with it.

Saturday afternoon greetings!  I was up early this morning for a 9am bored board meeting for Middletown AAUW.  As soon as it adjourned, I picked up 2 book group friends and we went to Books & Co. at The Greene to hear Mary Doria Russell.  She was her usual entertaining self and shed a lot of light on Dreamers of the Day and her other books.

This morning I put Dreamers on hold at the library even though I have a feeling this is one I would like to read & keep.

I got an e-mail from Disney alerting me that the Blu-rays of ARMAGEDDON and TOMBSTONE are in the mail. They are scheduled to arrive mid-week, but they don't come out until the 27th so that's plenty of lead time.

I also see that two "monumental masterpieces" of cinema art are scheduled for release in the coming months, and it will fall on me to review them more than likely: ELECKTRA and SHOWGIRLS. Oy!

Wouldn't that be more of a warning than an alert?

I think I would rather sit through SHOWGIRLS than to endure ARMAGEDDON for a second time.

Oy. I feel like I am 90 years old. This morning when i woke up it felt like I had a pinched nerve on the left side of my neck near my shoulder blade. I think i must have slept funny. I tried icing it and using a heating pad.  It's a bit better now. But it still feels weird. :(

Yesterday was a very sad day for me.  I stopped at the credit union, and as I was pulling out, a kid in an older clunker ran into my brand new car.   I just barely have 4,000 miles on it.

I still have not found the key to my safe. But i'm finding a bunch of things i did not remember i had.

Plus i will have a hard time getting to my easter chocolate stash. Since i could not lock it in my safe i threw it on top of my closet in the back.

For some reason all the treats i got were so good i just kept wanting to eat them all. Which is not good!

I started to red THE RED LEATHER DIARY.  Fascinating.
I also am reading the short stories of Flannery O'Connor. . .what a brilliant writer.

The weather here is cold and dreary and windy. Yuck!

I think the high was supposed to be 10C (40s). But the windy was really bad. So definitely no bike ride today. Not sure if i would have been able to even without the wind because of my neck. Although for some reason my back feels better when i bike ride. So maybe it wouldn't have hurt my neck. I'll have to try it maybe tomorrow depending on the weather.

DR TCB that is such terrible and unnecessary news.....

Was he insured?  Was he on the phone?  Was he cited?

I was just going to ask what DR Laura asked. Was there a lot of damage?

Are you alright?

How does it work where you are?  Is it determined by whose fault it is?

I was lucky today: there were some botanists on this butterfly walk, so they were able to help me identify some of the flowers I had been unable to identify.
