Saturday afternoon greetings! I was up early this morning for a 9am bored board meeting for Middletown AAUW. As soon as it adjourned, I picked up 2 book group friends and we went to Books & Co. at The Greene to hear Mary Doria Russell. She was her usual entertaining self and shed a lot of light on Dreamers of the Day and her other books.
I got an e-mail from Disney alerting me that the Blu-rays of ARMAGEDDON and TOMBSTONE are in the mail. They are scheduled to arrive mid-week, but they don't come out until the 27th so that's plenty of lead time.I also see that two "monumental masterpieces" of cinema art are scheduled for release in the coming months, and it will fall on me to review them more than likely: ELECKTRA and SHOWGIRLS. Oy!

Are we going to be seeing photos of Jrand and his partner from last night?
Yesterday was a very sad day for me. I stopped at the credit union, and as I was pulling out, a kid in an older clunker ran into my brand new car. I just barely have 4,000 miles on it.
