Here's a musical I'll come to NYC to see if it makes it to Broadway next season - YANK!

It's a good score that I would love to be asked to orchestrate.

I now have four pots of vegetable soup boiling away on the stove. I'm thinking about removing some of the liquid from one pot and distributing it among the other three, adding a bit of cornstarch and making it into a stew.

I have about 90 minutes before I leave for my meeting.  Hmmm . . .

Jrand - you forgot the exclamation point on the end of YANK! - but nonetheless your effort was quite moving

I apologize for my post about Evil Kurt and jumping off that bridge.  I was being was highly insensitive.  The bridge is spelled "Tallahatchie" - regrets to people troubled by the spelling error.

I'm glad you corrected this, as I was highly offended.

And now, off to church, where we are having a some kind of rock n roll band playing. It should be interesting.

BK, I envy you the trip to Gold Star, though I always preferred Skyline Chili myself. I haven't made a good pot of Cincinnati chili in a while. May have to change that in the near future.

re: the weight gain discussion from last night

I have not weighed myself in forever. And i was pretty horrified this week when i did so.  I guess i will just have to watch what i eat and keep biking everyday.
I always watch what I eat. But that doesn't mean I lose any weight. I watch it and watch it and watch it.

We did this one on one-liner day, but:

I've been on a diet for a week now.  So far, I've lost seven days.

MORNING.

Great Sunday weather outside.

Congrats and vibes for all the things I read in the posts and do not take notes on, to remember a moment later.   Lots of senior moments lately.  :)

Pogue is back home.  We left at 3:35 AM I got back at 5:35 on the dot.  Now sleep.  More anon.

One hour each way without traffic, the only advantage to going at that hour.  I hope you managed to get back to sleep.

After laundry, I must go back to the artwalk to purchase 2 more glass fish for my wall from one of the local artists.  I bought 2 yesterday and they are so much fun, I think I need 2 more.  Very silly looking glass fish.

And then to listen to the last 2 cd's from Kritzerland which I have not opened yet.   I WILL NEVER MOVE AGAIN.

I WILL NEVER MOVE AGAIN.    The storage locker in the valley is empty, but I still have a 10x10 locker here in Ventura that I am slowly (extremely slowly) going through.   And then I think a garage sale is in order.

I am sorry that I was E & T most of yesterday (and will be most of today).  My back started acting up on Tuesday and  continued to get worse all week.  Yesterday, I became so crippled up that I ended up spending most of yesterday in bed with Nick.

I did catch up with yesterday's posts (I am sorry I missed Danise), but now I need to go back to bed.
