Here's the best news I've heard today: according to AfterElton.com, the ratings for ONE LIFE TO LIVE have reached an all-time low following the cancellation of the Kyle-Fish characters. Bless their hearts.

"Ah sir, happy news, indeed!"

MR BK has a lovely weekend planned, I look forward to reading about the details.

And of course it is LESS THAN ONE WEEK until DR GEORGE opens in BRAIN FROM PLANET X - Northwest.

DR GEORGE - which of the newspaper headlines do you get to read.....if any.

"Strange lights seen in the sky!"

and in the second act:

"State of emergency declared!  Troops called in!"  I get zapped by a will-bent Joyce and say, "The Limbo takes valley by storm!  Everyone's doing it!"

But we don't use the spinning newspapers on sticks. :-\

And I'm also the farmer. ;D

I have never had a cast party before the play opens.

You've never done a show with TAO.  I'm just surprised that it took this long to have our first party.

;)

When I was doing community theater here back in the 1970's, I'd often have a party at the beginning of the rehearsal period to get everyone acquainted.  One time it was a taco party and another time it was a Christmas tree-trimming party.  DR Elmore may remember those events.

Original text:

"There is an art, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss."

...10 translations later we get:

"This is not art, or flight. Regal is learning to vote on the floor, miss."
