!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Happy Birthday wishes to our DR Danise !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you, Dear Elmore.  How I wish we could go to another opera.  I always remember that time with great fondness.  And I often use your "what fresh Hell is this" quote-- especially with projects at work--even if I just say it to myself.

It always makes me laugh and it makes people wonder what I'm laughing at. :)

FJL, most people who order multiple items know that when one of those items is a preorder then everything ships when the preorder comes in.

The Internet is so screwy here - I came back to find it not working - I did a network diagnostic and changed two settings and it was fine.  Then a cleaning lady unplugged the system accidentally, so that screwed that up - when it came back up I had to do the network diagnostic again - now it's back and I sure hope I don't have this problem later.  I just went to post this and it went down again, then up.  It's really annoying.

David was hungry so we went to a nearby sandwich shop (5th Avenue Sandwich or something like that).  I had the single best chicken salad sandwich I've ever eaten, on freshly made white bread.  Out of this world.

Just notice that the movie (Name escapes me at the moment) that BK filmed a few years ago (a sci fi musical) and had been list as still in production for several years has now disappeared from IMDB. I take that the film is never going to be released not even directly to video. I guess they never did get enough money to complete it.

Consider it a lost film of BK. The one that could have garnered him an Oscar nomination from the clips that I saw. :-)

There's only so much a squirrel in a cage can do, BK.  You're in Olympia, after all.   ;D

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DANISE!!

Thank you, Dear Jane for all the lovely dog/birthday pictures!

Sheena and Toby had their first real dog fight the other night.  I knew it would happen because both of them are Alpha's.  I think Sheena lost because now things have calmed back down and I notice a BIG difference in the way Sheena acts towards Toby.  Age and size can't beat youth and agility--at least sometimes.

So I now have:
Sheena--Queen of the Dog Park and
Toby the Terrible.  He rules with an iron paw! :)

Thanks, BK.  It never occurred to me, but I see that's standard business practice.

Since I'm the type who places an order on the web and then immediately goes to sit by the intercom waiting for UPS to buzz up, that's good to know that multiple-item ordering is not consistent with my personality type.  :)

I'm exaggerating based on an old Jrand joke, but it happens with a place like Barnes and Noble more often than you'd expect - I've placed an order at 11 a.m. and the intercom rang at 1:30 with my book order.

Danise, you don't sound too upset so I'm guessing the fight was more noise than bite. :)

Have a wonderful birthday DR Danise!!

Thank you for the lovely card, Dear MBarnum!  I never asked or have seen it posted, where do you get all your cards?  You know one time I was in a GoodWill and saw a whole album filled with old cards and letters.  Some one had taken a good deal of care with a lifetime of memories.  I imagine that person must have pasted away and her treasures just went to Goodwill.  I thought that was sad and was tempted to buy it but my Mom said "What would you do with that?".

I didn't get it but I've often thought about it.

FJL - it's only if they preorder a title.  If someone places a multiple order of released stuff it goes out the same day.

The world was created quicker than this movie!

Shayne - it looked like a terrible movie and the fact that he'd go in and shoot without having all financing in place, well, no one should ever do it.
