re: last night's SURVIVOR WINNER

SPOILERS

I was very OK with the winner of this season's SURVIVOR.

Now, no more competition shows for me until BIG BROTHER begins this summer.

the rain and then the other two and once and the all star and the jury and listen do not listen and then there
one hit two three and then there were no more and the winner is one two and then she said once twice and the
I was also okay with last night's outcome (it was who i wanted to win). Although like i said yesterday i used to
really dislike this person. So it's funny how i ended the season rooting for her.  But that said, the jury is a bunch
of bitter people.  I get that they could pick the wrong winner in other years. But this is an all-star season. The
people are supposed to get past their pettiness and vote for the best overall physical and mental player. Clearly
to me this season that was Parvati.  Although i think what won it for Sandra was the fact that she said she
wanted russell out and tried so hard to convince the Heroes. But they would not listen to her.

And speaking of The Tonys... -And aren't we always speaking of The Tonys? Well...

The other day DR Noel asked about Jonathan Tunick's Tony Nomination for his orchestrations for Promises, Promises since they sounded pretty close to the originals to his ears - and mine too.  Well...

I happened to run into a friend of mine yesterday who is a Tony voter, and I asked him about the nomination.  His reply:

"Well, the Orchestration category wasn't instituted until 1997."

Ah! -So, even though the current orchestrations may resemble the original orchestrations, since Mr. Tunick was not - and could not have been - nominated for the Orchestration Tony back in 1968/69, he and his work qualify this season.

*And, of course, the first person to win the Tony Award for Best Orchestrations: Jonathan Tunick for Titanic.

I had a big gay chocolate ice cream cone with chocolate sprinkles from Doug after lunch.

He's on his way to China to perform so he will be gone for two weeks!

Hooray for Doug

Good Afternoon!

Well... Since I just heard back from UPS... And since they said that there was no pending delivery for me nor for this address... Well... I think I'm going to get out of here for a while...

Laters...

Should you have left the apartment unattended ???

Well, I did hang out for a few hours here at the apartment on Saturday, and there was at least one roommate who was still home upstairs.  -Like there is now. Which is why...

I really like Doug. He's become a good friend.

Busting is doing about as well as Legend of the Lost so far - which is not quite well enough.  I'm hoping it picks up otherwise I fear no more Billy Goldenberg on CD.

When he's back and I go to the truck I'll mention your name. He hadn't put out the sign yet and just after he handed me my cone he put out the sign with the Bea Arthur. Next time I'll try it. Sounds great!

So, today I am having lunch with David James, one of my best friends in the Miami University Theatre Dept, who left New York over fifteen years ago to relocate to London.

Did he follow Lucy there?

Good afternoon! I have just delivered all of the materials for our baseball film to be onlined and mixed---hooray. I will still be dealing with details here and there but basically I'll be down to one job---THE CLOSER (after I edit a trailer for the film) and will finally have time to clean my house, exercise and read HHW! (Although I have been finding time to read Bruce's new book!)

Having some tax work issues, no vibes needed in this case, since vibes can't combat nonsensical greed - but I'm being very careful what i say about these matters on public chat boards.

The Federal government sent me a letter today telling me that they owe me 54 cents....but I have to request it in writing.....if I do....I will net 10 cents.....I think I will let them have it.

Hmmm...

If you waited until next month to do the latest release...and you had wider distribution...you could use the tagline:

"BUSTING is out in June all over!"
