Woo Hoo New season of Next Food Network Star!

That's another show that they show here but it is not in the schedule yet.  I guess i will have to keep checking back on the food network here to see when this and top chef will be starting.

It's sort of annoying that these canadian websites can't just look and see when their shows are starting their new seasons in the US and simply post their start dates. So at least we'd know.

Jennifer, do you have cable?  My friends that lived in Vancouver used to be able to get all the American Networks on cable.  Can you get them, if you pay for them?

Most Canadians can get most American networks. But the shows i'm talking about are not on the regular channels. They are on speciality channels that i don't believe are available anywhere in the US.

Then you don't get cable?  Do you pay extra for any viewing?  We have to pay for a service as the regular stations have lousy reception.  PPS only comes to us through regular programing while other areas in the country get HD PPS.   We opt not to pay extra for Showtime or HBO, paying extra for PPS is not an option.

Has anyone here tried those Nature Valley Granola Nut Clusters?  I am hooked on the cashew variety, although they also have peanut, almond, or Nut Lovers.

Nope.  They sound fattening ;)

I'm moving into a summer girly phase.  I went shopping and ended up with skirts for the summer.

But most shows on these speciality channels are available on other Canadian channels.

We get Top chef, top chef masters, the next food network star on Food network canada.

We get White collar on bravo canada.

We get Royal Pains on Citytv.

We get Project Runway on Slice.

The only problem is that sometimes these canadian stations do not air the shows at the same as in the US. Sometimes they do. And sometimes we are off by a few days or weeks.  But they don't make their schedules in advance it seems.

That is a shame.

If I had that much trouble finding shows to watch I suspect I would stop watching tv. :)

Okay, the movie that evrybody loves, but you dislike!

My DH and DS love, love, love the LotR trilogy and I sat through each one once and even accompanied them to the touring exhibit in Indianapolis (on MY birthday, no less), but I really don't need to see any of them ever again.

Ditto, the Matrix.

Are you still researching the Titanic?  Did you read TITANIC'S LAST SECRETS?

The old Willie Wonka movie -- not the recent remake, which I haven't seen. But I wouldn't like it anyway.

Nope.  They sound fattening ;)

According to the Nutrition Facts, the serving size is 8 clusters for a total of 150 calories.

I just grilled cheddar burgers - we ran out of gas but fortunatelyl not until the burgers were nearly done - by keeping the barbeque closed it retained enough heat to finish them off

we also has corn on the cob and baked beans
