Good Morning!

I'm up, I'm up... And I'm pretty sure I'll be rotating "out" my new sandals today. -But, again, no blisters.

The work continues.....but I will re-do the desk area next week..... at the Goodwill I found a nice BEDSIDE table with a flat top, some shelves and a drawer.....so that is nice....everything fits well....so that is nice.

I put some old shelves out at the curb about 15 minutes ago....we shall see what happens.

I'm still laughing at the thought of my nerdy friend (that's a compliment) trying to be tough race car guy in his big truck and the boards flying out the back. OMG. When I saw him sitting in his office this morning I burst out laughing.  Luckily he started laughing too.  Nice way to start the morning

TOD - I guess it's the computer and internet, but cell phones have had a pretty big impact too.

Bruce-

I just purchased an i-pad for my wife.

She has never used a computer in her life.

She wants something to easily send and receive-mail,use google and Facebook and surf the web.

She,also is an avid reader. I was thinking, originally,of getting her a Kindle.
This certainly serves that purpose. And The Kindle is very expensive to just use for reading.

She loves the i-pad. At least I think she does

Here's something she can do right away - there's a FREE app which lets you download Kindle for the iPad.  FREE.  Then you have access to purchase all Kindle books for your iPad.

I don't see Lulu's birthday on our home page, hence it's not in the notes.  A very happy haineshisway.com birthday to only occasional dear reader Lulu.

I'm up.  CDs arrived THIS morning instead of tomorrow morning, but the helper is coming tomorrow morning not THIS morning so here they will sit until tomorrow morning.  Unless I'm feeling adventurous in which case I'll ship out the non-dealer copies.

Actually, you can download the Kindle application free for your regular Mac and your PC also.

Smart move on Amazon's part.

Well, we didn't pay for the loveseat, but they're continuing to hold it for us until Saturday when the store's 15% off sale starts:

I saw it. I will say the audience loved it. I did not. I often wonder at times like that what, if anything, I'm missing. It's a good cast in a mediocre, mush of a show.

DR CILLA LIZ - one day in the last century, a group of friends and stopped at a red light at 52nd Street and Keystone.

A pickup truck got the green light....he pulled away in a great hurry.  Setting in the back of a truck was a LARGE console television set - wood cabinet....you remember what they were like......well the truck went, and because the television was on the very BACK of the truck and the tailgate was down....WELL......there was a big television face down in the intersection.
CRASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL, JRand.  Was it you?

Luckily last night is there was no one around except a couple of people sitting in a doorway.  One car came by while I was standing in the middle of the road laughing like crazy and moving the boards out of the way.  Mind you this was right out in front of the courthouse and the jail/sheriff's office. Pretty funny place to decide to drag.  It's all one way around there so he had to go around a couple blocks to get back to where we started.

I will say he totally left me in the dust so I loved that he had to come back to pick up his cargo. It was like I hadn't even put my foot on the accelerator and he was down the block with the boards a 1/2 block behind him.

I was only an interested bystander, DR CILLA LIZ....the television was not mine....thanks goodness.

However I did leave home in a Toyota pickup truck one morning and arrived at my destination without the Camper Shell that was on the bed.....it was dark and I never felt or heard a thing.

A drive back saw nothing beside the road......didn't notice it until I started to back into my parking space and thought "Wow, I sure can see a lot back there, usually it's DARK!"

I am convinced it was the Mysterians that took my camper shell up into their spaceship.
