I wish we could hire the Vixter to weed for us.

she is free most of July and all of August - of course you will need to provide transportation

I wish the author could have seen her reading it -he would have been quite gratified -

she gasps out loud - suddenly will shout 'Oh no!!" - she is so into this book - it is fun to watch!

I got a MyBook NAS drive today.  I hooked it up to my wireless network and  am backing up all the computers in the house.  I have a couple that are old and basically retired, but have a lot of photos on them.  Wiht this drive I can access everything that's backed up from any computer on the network.  It makes it more like a real network with a server only much cheaper.  It seems to be working well except I have one computer that I can't get the software to load.  It accepts some of it but not all of it.  It's supposed to be compatible, so we'll see.  Maybe tomorrow

Oh joy, only another inch or more of rain between now and Tuesday.  Well that should be good for the cherry tomatos I planted yesterday and the eggplant and beans I planted today

Yesterday, I had some correspondence from a certain composer who goes by their 3 initials (not ALW) asking me to stop trading his "stuff" on a certain file trading site I belong to as it wasn't "cool".  I wrote back explaining why we trade and that I saw his point and gave him a solution to ease the trading.  Irony is, it's possible I'll be meeting said composer in the next month as he's coming to do a workshop with our older kids from this camp I'm working at this summer (I'm working with another group) as they are doing his newer "kid" show that has a number for a title.

Matthew, when you (possibly) meet in person, will he know that it's you...the trader?? ;)

DR George, thank you for the delightful parcel in today's post!

Wow!  That was quick!  I just mailed it on Thursday...or was it Wednesday?

Hopefully, Kritzerland's newest release will be that quick. ;D

And found out some very interesting things about the label that shall not be named and the particular person who ran it after I left - and ran it into the toilet - one of the real villains in the piece - apparently karma has taken care of him big time.

Did someone push him onto the subway track in front of an oncoming train?

Good evening. That is all. Except that it was a beautiful cool day in Phoenix -- about 89 degrees.

Well, it looks like the boys will be with us another week. The adoption bus was not where she said it would be today. I guess I misunderstood.

Well, I emailed him back a rather lengthy note saying what I felt about trading his (and others) music.  I have not heard  back from him.  He did say to email him if I had any questions about his initial note.  I may just avoid meeting him anyway as I'm not a big fan of his music.  I'm playing in the pit of the "number" show as a favor.  It's turning out to be a BIG favor!

Promises ordered!!

She's now talking about the show, "Hoarders."  I'm recording it but didn't start watching (from the beginning) until about halfway though so I can speed through the commercials.

So earlier this evening, I finally switched the light fixture in my bathroom and put up the one that I actually bought before I moved in...more than three and a half years ago. ::)

The problem is that, as nice as it looks, it has only four 50-watt bulbs (the kind with the two prongs on the base, not the screw-type) and it doesn't put out very much light. :P
