Watching the film version of HELLO DOLLY - I hated it when I first saw it.....but now I don't find it so bad.

Good morning, all! Last night I was feeling quite unhealthy, so I decided to sleep in today and drive  away whatever bug was threatening my equilibrium.  All was fine until the dog above me began barking about 8:45 this morning. So, I am up and so much for sleeping late.

I do feel better than yesterday. I'll have some chicken broth for lunch.

I've got Victor Herbert and the Wizard to deal with today, but I am taking it easy and not doing too much.

Chicken broth at Artie's!! And tell 'em howdy from the rainy northwest... Feel better, sweet boychik!

Dearest darlingest PennyO! How I do miss you on the eastern side of the globe.

I had to change the roll of toilet paper AND the paper towels all in one morning.

I need a nap.

I hope you didn't confuse them.

Today is probably going to be a long day for me.  I have to work concessions for a local dance studio's recital, but if I get done early enough, I need to take my niece to a Seattle Storm basketball game.  Larry, her mother's boyfriend is supposed to take her, but he has a bad back and really can't drive.  My sister will take her, if I can't.

Two for one tickets for the Storm game.

Yes, that would be reason enough to avoid Mr. Gibson's films.  However, long before he publicly became Mel-the-Jew-hater; he had long been Mel-the-gay-hater.  Back then, I told people I was avoiding his films for that reason, and I was constantly told to lighten-up.

PennyO, how long will you be up here in the neighborhood?  I think it would be lovely, if you (and possibly George) and I got together for lunch some weekend for a mini HHW celebration.

A very Happy Sunday to our one guest!  I hope you are enjoying your day.  Why don't you join us at HHW?  Or were you a member before?

I still believe that if Ms Streisand had allowed them to age her and plump her up a little (a fat suit); she could have gotten another Oscar nomination out of HELLO, DOLLY!

I wonder if the current One Guest, is the same One Guest that was here earlier?  A point to ponder!

No, because the current One Guest has now become Two Guests.

I went back to sleep after putting labels on about 250 boxes, and got up about fifteen minutes ago and will do the rest now, and then maybe even get a head start in addressing my half of them.

Father's Day greetings!  We are back from Lima, where we all did quite well on about 5 hours of sleep.  We were up quite late after the wonderful Men's Glee Club alumni concert last night.  Richard and Rob had naps in the car while I drove home from Lima and I'm about to take a nap of my own.

I have about 150 boxes left to put labels on - that should take another twenty minutes or so.  I'm catching up on lots of CD listening.

It looks like a nice day out - but then I haven't really been OUT.  Dinner will be early, around four-thirty or five.
