I am surprised by the number of people still heading down to The Taste.  It closes for the evening at nine, and it is already seven-thirty.

Mom called.  All is well.  Still lightning and thunder but they are upstairs again and she's going to go to bed

If I had unlimited funds I'd buy really cool old endangered buildings and restore them.

Yep, that's part of our agenda, too. I'd love to restore a place like Michael Burns and his wife did.

Anyone got a spare 6 million?

I would never buy that place.  By the end of the first week, I would have fallen down that main staircase.

Or you could have Rhett Butler carry you up the staircase!

I had no idea DD Bosco was on the decline. I am so sorry to hear that, MBarnum. Vibes that he perks back up and hugs for you!

MBarnum have you called the vet?  Sometimes cortisone helps with pain and increases appetite.  Side effects include drinking tons of water resulting in accidents in the house.

My dog, Missy, who is about 14, has arthritis.  We give her a 1/4 pill for it every morning and it seems to help with both pain and her appetite.  Not sure what the medication is called, but your vet should.

Good evening. Today I wore pants while on the plane. That is all.

Finished with my viewing for the evening.  I'm going to take a shower in a little while.

I'm back from seeing the final performance of "Saul Tannenbaum's SPRINGTIME IN PARIS featuring the Gay Parisiennes!"  It was a great evening (although they didn't have enough light on the performers, at all).  The singers were great, the show was fun and a good time was had by all!

Even though no one was actually smoking at the club during the show, you could tell that people had been smoking there for years.

I smell like cigarette smoke and have a headache now. :P

It was sad seeing Bosco unable to jump into the car today. I had to pick him up and put him in.  He has been going downhill the last few weeks, losing weight and becoming very lethargic.  I suspect that the time is soon coming when he will be no more with me, and I am not quite ready to face that day.

~~~Vibes of Health and Comfort for MBarnum and Bosco!!~~~
TOD - in the short term, I'd buy or rent us a "second home" here in Lima, because I'm getting a little tired of the Fairfield Inn.  In the longer term, I'd buy a small apartment in NYC, because that's where I'd really like to be spending more time.
Great idea!  I'd love to have my own place in NYC...and London.
