Yes I am still ahead by ONE vote, thanks to all on HHW who voted....please continue if you haven't, I do not know how long the tie-breaker will last.

I assume you won, Jack, it wouldn't let me vote again.

You are only permitted to vote once.
Well, that's rather unsportsmanlike. I like to vote early and vote often. It wouldn't take my second vote, either.

Cilla, regarding your response to the spoiler.... I expect I will agree with you.

Quit reading spoilers and go watch the movie already!

;) I'm waiting for Keith to stop playing one of his computer games.

THere we are already!   I was going to say it never occurred to me to text and drive until I knew I wasn't supposed to

Keith called me today and I found it very annoying to pull over to the side of the completely deserted road just to answer the phone.  I could have answered & stopped at the stop sign to finish my conversation only I was afraid a police car would pull up.

Keith found out that professional drivers are exempt from the law and may use cell phones while driving.  I doubt texting is part of the exemption.  He discovered this while getting his car fixed when the driver shuttling him to Costco answered the phone.

We can still talk on the phone, eat dinner, put on make up, read the paper, watch tv....do anything but text

Brilliant, DR Druxy.

Where was the voice at the time?

We were doing Williams' original 3rd act, the one in which "Big Daddy" does not appear on stage.

He was sitting offstage, following in the script, but his thumb was covering the cue where he was supposed to moan.

He was a marvelous "Big Daddy," though.

I never cared for that version of CAT.  I think I got spoiled by that great scene between Brick and Big Daddy in the film.

It was almost 50 years ago, so I don't recall why I chose to use that one.

I think it was a bit darker than that Broadway version, and that might have appealed to me.  [I was in college.]

Earthquake ?  I was driving on the freeway, didn't feel a thing.
But it was on the news instantaneously.

Earthquake, huh?

Maybe I should buy that future oceanfront land in Las Vegas.

Finished with my viewing - and I have to say I watched the best thriller since Silence of the Lambs - exemplary in every way save for one - and thankfully you have a choice to avoid the one.

Well, I'm off.  The Olympia Audition League, in which Theater Artists Olympia participates, is having a musical audition workshop tonight.  Anything to help...I hate auditions. :P But I know that they're necessary.

Until later!

I hope you learn something that helps.

Thanks...I think I got a bit of information that I hadn't thought about before.  But mainly it was Josh Anderson (the director/music director of The Brain) giving advice.  Most of the other people were somewhat experienced in theater and (probably) auditioning, but only a couple were seasoned musical theater performers, so a lot of good information was given out.  It was good to hear a lot of it at one time, though. :)

Well, Nicky and I are now going to try to go to sleep, even though it is 90+ degrees in here.

G'night!

I went up to my bedroom when I got home (at about 9:30 p.m.) and it was 88.7°F!  Then I realized that I'd closed my operable skylight a couple of days ago, because there was a noise on my roof!  So I opened it and it'll be fine by the time I go to bed, which will be earlier tonight than the last few days.  I haven't gotten enough sleep recently. :P

So, I'm off to bed as soon as BK changes the day. 8)
