Well, you've read the notes, the notes had both time and space and did continuum, and now it is time for you to post until the time-space cows come home.

Wow, am I an early poster today.  I think I'll try and go back to sleep now.  With luck I'll sleep in tomorrow.  Sherlock can't have breakfast before his surgery so I'll try to cuddle with him all morning.

It was beautiful this morning as I stepped outside to walk to the office.

It's supposed to get hot, though so we return to the heat wave again.

TOD: Most weight gain? After I quit smoking. I don't know often weigh myself, so I don't have actually poundage for that, but it was about four added inches in the waist.

Weight loss: This one I did measure. I went on a raw-food diet, which I loved. I lost 21 pounds in three weeks. I had more energy than I ever had and I slept better than I had in years. Just shedding all those carbohydrates was a real blessing. I also lost five inches around the waist. I was going to keep it up, at least partially, for a while, but our boss decided we needed to do a revamp and updating of all the major restaurants in the city and I found myself eating out more than 10 times a week. All the weight came back on, etc. I keep promising myself I'll go back to raw food at least part of the time, but I haven't.

It is already hot outside.  It's overcast, and the clouds are holding the heat in.

Yes DR JANE - the kitten with the stripe patches, I guess that is the best way to describe them rather than "stripes."

Great Sherlock & Co photos.

Last year I weighed 240 lbs.....way too much.....   I have lost 35 of those pounds.....but I want to lose 10 or 15 more before September, so I am back on the exercise machine a few times a week.

Even at 195, I will be B I G - but not as B I G as I was during Arsenic and Old Lace.

Monday morning greetings!  So far, I'm the only one stirring in our household.  Richard stayed in Lima last night to attend to some church business today.  Rob and the cousins are still asleep.

The new hoops (hoopnotica) that i am using are much heavier so it is much easier to keep them up. You could basically keep them for however long you want and it won't fall down.

DR Jane, I am surprised that the little girl would put out her hands to you and keith. She must really like you.  My niece only puts out her hands to the 5 people she comes into contact with a lot. She cries when people she doesn't know want to pick her up.

I also enjoyed the MAD MEN episode.

I have AMC HD, maybe you can watch the episodes if you have an ON DEMAND feature....and see it in HD the following day.

It was Thanksgiving - and Betty was supposed to be out of the house in October, so I am guessing we are in 1964, just a year later than when we ended last year.

Television advertising of cigarettes began in January, 1972, so there are a few good years left for the Lucky Strike account.

Has anybody here seen this new show on A&E called THE GLADES. I think it premiered 2 weeks ago and they replay it throughout the week (it's on on sundays). I didn't think I would like it. But there was a big write-up about it in our tv guide. And I actually really like it!

I haven't weighed myself since I started biking everyday in March.  But I have noticed a difference around my waist after only a week using my hoopnotica hula hoop.  That is the part that needed the most work. So I'm happy. And if I keep using it everyday...

RE: the TOD,  for some reason if I do absolutely no exercise and eat whatever I want I weigh 155lbs (which is a lot for my height). So i guess that is the most i've ever weighed.

I don't know how much i started at, but when i was 21 i lost a bunch of weight (on atkins and suzanne somers).  I kept that off for a while. But then for my sister's wedding I lost 25 lbs cause i wanted to look svelte for the dress. I think i was like 125 then, which my doctor said was a good weight for me (i'm 5'4 but quite big boned).  I think i decreased my carbs a lot to do that (counted them).

Right now I'm exercising everyday. And watching what i eat (not a ton of processed foods or junk food). But if i want a dessert i eat it. I think that is why i'm getting more fit but probably not losing a ton of weight. I think if i started eating less carbs i would go down a lot.

Good morning, all! I've been tied up this morning with emails and inquiries on the Herbert song project. I've yet to tidy the apartment and get some work accomplished on BABES IN TOYLAND Volume 2, and at 2pm I have to be at the NYU Dental Clinic, which means I need tp leave here around 12:30. Crosstown traffic could be horrble on a Monday and God knows how long it will take the crosstown bus to get from Seventh Avenue to First.

To add to my misery, I think I'm going through a round of depression; I was feeling very sorry for myself last night.

To work.

TOD:

I've lost 20-30 pounds several 2-3 times in my life.

When I was single, I used Jenny Craig, and after I got married, I used Weight Watchers.

Now, I seem to be able to keep my weight at a steady point by taking Green Tea capsules every morning, which cuts down on my appetite.  I seldom snack now between meals, which was my major problem.

Question about the London recording of PROMISES (2):

Is the "Anthony Roberts" of that production the same actor we know here as "Tony Roberts," who did the show in Los Angeles and also a lot of movies with Woody Allen (e.g. ANNIE HALL)?
