Ginny how is your water today?

All cleared up, DR Jane.  We've showered, run the dishwasher, and done laundry (after running the machine a couple of times empty).  However, we're still brushing our teeth and making coffee & tea with bottled water.  And we almost never drink our tap water anyway, so that's not an issue.  Thanks for asking!

I'm glad to hear that Sherlock is behaving himself and recovering from yesterday's procedure.

Good news Ginny and thank you.  Sherlock is close enough I can hear if he moves or scratches, far enough I get up often to check on him.

Rob and I just returned from taking my mother grocery shopping.  I must say (and I've told him) it's a lot easier with an extra pair of hands and a full-size shopping cart.  He said it's just practice for when he has to take ME someday!

Thank you DR MBarnum.  How are you doing?  Are the days/nights getting more difficult before getting better?

DR Jane, things are pretty much fine. Once in awhile I will get a bit meloncholy when I am driving over to a relative or friend's house minus Bosco, or when I feel like taking a walk, with no Bosco to walk with.

Freddy has been particularly attentive. When Bosco was around Fred preferred the dog's company ot mine, but now I am all that he has left! LOL!

I'm sure if John Denver had really "thought" about it, he'd have written...

"Rainbows on my shoulders make me happy
Rainbows in my eyes can make me cry..."

"Rainbows on my shoulders make me happy

I swear that somewhere, some time, John Denver DID sing:
Sunshine on my shoulder gives me sunburn,
Sunshine in my eye can make me blind,
Sunshine on the water makes it lukewarm,
Sunshine almost always makes me fine.

And the word of the day is: POTLATCH!

Actually, Potlatch is a lovely little town here in Washington State.  It is located over on Hood's Canal which is northwest of Tacoma.

I can only think of one Rainbow song.

What is the name of it?

Wait!  Did he forget the title?

He remembers the song, but forgot to tell us what it is>

Hello?  Hello?  Is this thing working?

Got the bill from the handy man and I am not happy about a few things.  Trying to decided whether to just pay him and be done with it or to waste my time an energy bickering over a few things that they really didn't do well.  I'm starting to think I'll just be done with them and then show my neighbor who is planning to hire them the problems I had with them and suggest he hires someone else.  My neighbor asked what I thought of them early on, so I think I'll fill him in
