I've spent quite a bit of time today transferring info from an old address book to a new one. At first it was pretty depressing to omit the people who'd died, but then I realized that I also had a lot of new additions - HHW friends, Vera Bradley friends, etc. Even found an email address for someone that I didn't know I had, so I've sent her a message and hope to hear back from her.

DR Jane - I think one of the secrets to life is to continue making new friends. So far, the email from my friend Linda has not bounced back, so I'm thinking the address is good - fingers crossed!

I had the Original Burger Basket with a Strawberry malt. They give you the extra from the malt so it was like I had 2 malts. I'm still not hungry...next time I'm going to have breakfast

TCB, I had a similar incident when asking about a funnel. There was a time when every kitchen had at least one. I suspect that they are now considered obsolete--but not by me!!

Beautiful cat, JRAND. I had a cat I named Callie long ago. I also had another cat with a stripe down her nose, just like Miss Callee's. Her name was Mehitabel. May you all have many long years together.

I had web-tv for several years. I actually kept it after I got a computer because of the large volume of email that I wanted to forward.

And I don't know if there was more than one type, BK, but mine was definitely connected to the phone line. I had call waiting so if a call came in while I was on web-tv, it would automatically disconnect (the web-tv).

And funny you should mention ebay, BK, because I remember that I would get a notice saying "the page is too big to show" or something like that while I was on ebay. It was very frustrating.

I'm around, DR Cillaliz, just went to the other end of the house to eat some ice cream and watch part of a movie with Richard. It's about a comet that's going to destroy LA in 3 days and all the water's contaminated. Really bad writing and acting, so I came back here.

Very nice interview, Bruce! It wasn't just plugging your book--it was really interesting to listen to, as well. Joe Sutton is quite a good interviewer. You came off very well. But why were we DRs not mentioned, huh??

A female lawyer friend from LA just asked if she could share a room and expenses in Toronto at the meeting I'm going to in a couple weeks. She's only going to be there for 2 days, but it will save me even more $$. This is great, the first and last nights I'll have my own room and the two in between I'll have a roommate. That works great for me!
