I'm off to home, now.  I need to do a load of laundry (shirts, mostly) tonight, and also watch a bit of TV.

Until later!

I am glad that things seem to be back on an even keel with Edith, Cilla!

Thanks Vixmom.  We were talking today about scheduling for the rest of the month and she brought up that she'll be coming to the jury trial and won't be in the office to do things, so I'm pretty confident all is well

I think I need a Dragnet break.  Maybe I'll get a jump on addressing the last hundred boxes.  And since I've jogged I'm sort of hungry - I only had the small chopped salad and half an artichoke so I haven't really eaten that much.

The DVDs of Seasons 1-3 of MAD MEN arrived to today.

I'd never watched the show, so I figured it was about time.

I watched the first three episodes this evening.

It is certainly well done, but the story is moving along a bit too slowly for my taste,  Hopefully, it will pick up soon.

My other problem with the show thus far is that none of the characters are really likable.  The actors are fine, but there is nobody in the show (at this point) that I really care about.

Der Brucer that is a Rose of Sharon bush ,

Thank-you dear lady. Since it is growing wild in the woods, it would be a great candidate for my "I don't do yard work" yard. The Internet suggests that it's easy to transplant the little saplings that spring up near its base; I shall go on a sapling search tomorrow.

That is what I said from the get-go - some people didn't want to hear it, though.  Especially the leading man and especially in those early episodes.  You'll ultimately get his history but by the time you do it doesn't really make him any more likable.

I ended up doing another half-mile jog over to Jerry's Deli - had a small turkey sandwich, and then did a brisk walk home.  Very nice all the way around.

So, now in the 21st Century, has The Wandering Jew become The Jogging Jew?
