The Ventura County Fair parade this morning was fun, almost 2 hours, and the fair grounds are within walking distance.  I'm a little too old for the rides, they scare me now more than thrill me.

I ate some sauteed chicken with mushrooms and onions over rice - it was way too filling so I ran another half-mile.  In the meantime, someone's stupid car alarm has been ringing for fifteen minutes about a half-block from here.  I kind of want to go out with a baseball bat and shut it off.
