I have a client being sworn in as a US Citizen today. I'm going to go to the ceremony. It's been a few years since I've been to one and they are really cool. So may people who are so optimistic and so happy to be citizens. I could use that lift today

I will be seeing a production of The Fantasticks tomorrow starring Anthony Morelli. I decided last week that since tomorrow is our 15 year anniversary that I would go down to Annapolis where he is performing and surprise him. He has no idea I'm coming down. I told him I couldn't make it because of work (we are in a busy time right now but I can take a day off (Monday) and it's our 15th so it's important and special.

I'm taking the train to DC tonight after work. I will stay with a friend and then tomorrow the four of us will drive down to Annapolis to see the show. They had planned on seeing the show anyway and when I called to ask if they had room in the care (getting to Annapolis is not easy if you don't have a car) they were very happy to have me join them. I will see the show and then when he comes out to see our DC friends I will be there for the "reveal" as they say in television.

I will stay Saturday and Sunday (my friends will drive back to DC) and drive back to NYC on Monday with Anthony.

I'm very excited about the trip and a day away from the office.

TOD:

CD: the new Spartacus megaset
BD: getting through a glut of review titles, including a bunch of Dragon Dynasty releases, as well as a Colin Farrell film called "Triage" and a new NatGeo IMAX thing. We got about 3/4 of the way through Ghost Writer last night. Slow and deliberate, and very creepy. There are some very minor artifacting issues on the BD, which I'm assuming BK didn't care about.

Does anybody here know much about camcorders?

I may be in the market for one...that:

1. Doesn't cost a fortune.
2. Does not have a long, complicated learning curve.
3. Can produce images/sound of broadcast quality.
4. Will work with my Macintosh.

Any suggestions?
