DR Jane while I"m waiting for the newest D.D Warren book (lisa gardner series), I started reading her FBI Profiler series. I'd read that the first book (The Perfect Husband) was just so-so. But that it introduced the FBI profiler from the series.

So I read it. And I'd agree it was okay but definitely the weakest book i've read of hers (it is really old). But I think it's important to read the book to meet the profiler. Well now i've read the second book in the series "The Third victim" and it was a lot better. I'm glad that i have the 3rd book ( The Next Accident).

I'm going to go to the library tomorrow to pick up a movie. And right now books 4 and 5 are in. So I will see if they are still there and get them.

Btw, my library is going completely online starting middle of september. So i will be able to reserve, and renew books online (not that i renew books very often). But i will be so happy to be able to reserve and suggest books on the computer!

I did something to my lower back yesterday and was in a fair amount of pain all night (a waterbed is terrible for a sore back).

I wish I knew what i did (it wasn't lifting anything). And it's my left lower back (it's usually my right lower back that hurts). So i'm hobbling around today.  Surprisingly it feels pretty good to bike (you'd think it would be very painful). So i will try that later.

I tried a heating pad but that didn't help.  I wonder if hooping would absolutely kill.

Ugh, I'm in full empathy with you: lower back pain is the pits. People basically see doctors for two reasons: colds and back pain, and doctors are equally effective at treating both... :(

My experience has been that it'll go away when it's good and ready. There are some painkillers that work (Skelaxin helped once for me), but by and large it just sucks. Hope you feel better soon!

Laundry is finished, Charlotte and I have a movie date tomorrow at 1 pm, the apartment is tidied and vacuumed, I may have the final two chorus ladies, I've spoken to Rebecca Luker, and I need to schedule an audition date for Anthony Morelli  to come and audition for our musical director, hopefully on Monday.

I'm up - had another good sleep but am quite groggy right now.  And I think it's already 100 degrees out.

I have been dealing with persistent lower back pain since my bout with kidney stones last year.

I've had to deal with lower back pain a lot.  But if I try not to lift heavy things it is usually quite manageable. Lately it has barely been hurting at all. But yesterday ouch.

My lower back pain comes and goes.  But I think I've learned to prevent it from happening.  Like making sure I sit on a stool or a bench high enough when I play piano, (I've learned to take my own rock n' sock chair with me to gigs) I don't sit on the floor much, and always try and sit with my back supported.  But like most back issues, they come and go at will.

I could go into why I'm obsessed with this show.  But that could take up a lot of space.  Maybe I'll just write a book

I never saw it.

I remember that, in Seattle, THE BEAST FROM 20,000 FATHOMS had a pretty big push.

A dealer dropped by to pick up some CDs (this guy doesn't take much and brings me all the other recent releases from other labels), then I did a few things, then had some matzo brei.  I may jog in about thirty minutes although I think its about 105 degrees out.

I've been to 68th and Broadway to pick up movie tickets for tomorrow, to the pharmacy for meds, and now I am back and ready to work some more on the Herbert recording.
