MR BK has given us MORE than enough clues for the release he is talking about - but I still can't figure it out.....maybe when I get home, I can think it about it more.

I think it's HENRY SWEET HENRY.

Hmmm...HSH did sound Grand Central Station-ish on the original LP, but the book didn't exactly stick to the movie...

The Barry Sisters were Claire and Myrna Barry (nee Bagelman), who were extremely popular Yiddish singers in the middle of the last century. One of them died relatively young in the '70s, and I believe the other is still alive.

Friday morning greetings!  This afternoon I have my second rehab session at the hospital, followed by errands and awaiting Mary Linda's arrival from Michigan.

Big Brother 12 is certainly revving up. It will be most interesting to see how the contestants behave now.

DR Cillaliz re: your trial comments.

So the 5 people who testified against your client were all drug dealers and yet the jury believed them?

I guess you can only do as much as you can.  I think to me success would depend partly on if I thought the client was guilty.  If I knew he was guilty and then did my best and he was found guilty ... then you did your best. If he was innocent then it would be harder.

In prepping for my move I have been selling off all of my yard implements, potted plants, and yard decor, most of which has been purchased by co-workers. It certainly is nice to have that extra cash!!

I have a beautiful mid century modern hutch that I need to get rid of, but so far no takers. I will put it up on Craigslist this weekend and hope for the best.

I think it's HENRY SWEET HENRY.

Having confirmed in person that my guess is/was correct, I might add that anyone (ANYONE?  ;D) who reads my posts would have gleaned a rather major clue from a comment of mine when BK first started talking about this project.

As far as I know HERE'S WHERE I BELONG never got recorded (I have the demo), and I wouldn't exactly say EAST OF EDEN was a film comedy.  ;)

One of HWIB's orchestrators, Norman Leyden, is the grand old man of the Portland music scene.  I think he's in his 90s now.  (I hope he isn't deceased LOL).

Hey everybody - it's Friday.  Today we will feature laundry, cart building, grocery shopping, and decorating for my pal Sabrina's 40th birthday party at our place tomorrow.  It will be a fiesta, so I'm going to go try and find a pinata for the festivities.

However, all you people out there in the dark, tomorrow is THE DAY.  Auditions for Sunset Blvd, never thought this would ever happen - meaning - I'd be involved with a production of Sunset Blvd, let alone be music director.  I am beyond excited, I don't think I'll sleep at all tonight.  I know I know, you're tired of hearing about it... but really, what other group of people can understand my excitement?

Last night I sold Dog Bosco's dog house, which was kind of sad for me. But the guy ( a friend's nephew) who bought it brought over his new dog...a gorgeous, 4 month old female boxer with the most beautiful colorings I have ever seen.

She and Cat Freddy played quite a lot in the back yard while they were here. Well, mostly the dog played; running around Freddy and trying to get Freddy to play fetch. Freddy mostly sat on the lawn and watched her and occasionally let the dog know who was boss.

It was so much fun to watch this young dog, who was quite energetic, but very well behaved. I just fell in love with her. I think Fred did also, as he followed the dog all the way back to the pickup when they were leaving.

Only problem is Bruce's aside " And I have to say, this show is generally thought of as not successful (it had a good run and I think it made money)." Henry Sweet Henry ran for all of two months. Could a show with that size cast possibly come close to breaking even in that short a time-span?
