Back from a luscious dinner at the Eclectic Cafe with Barry Pearl and Don Petrie and his lovely wife.  Then we saw the Sam Bobrick play - Barry's ever-lovin' Cindy did a very nice job - not Sam's strongest play, but a lot of fun nonetheless.

I wish I could go to bed instead of watching Katrina restrospectives. The weather channel is running an episode of "It Could Happen Tomorrow" which was made months before Katrina predicting the disaster of a cat 5 hurricane on New Orleans. The show didn't run---they changed the location to NY and reduced the predicted storm to cat 3. The next year they ran the original "lost episode" which incorporated the actual footage from Katrina.
