DR Vixmom - I just managed yesterday to hold on with only one hand so I could adjust my iPod.  It'll be a while before I'm ready for that kind of choreography!

I'm so glad The Vixter is doing the early college thing.  Rob did, too, and we wish we'd encouraged him to take even more classes at AtSU - Across the Street University, the affectionate nickname Middletown High students gave to the Miami U campus here in town.

DR Elmore - the Montgomery Inn isn't really close to Tri-County.  I'm wondering if you went to the Iron Horse Inn or the Grand Finale with the Macbeths.

TOD:  I love to build a dream-house or dream-flat in London in thea heart of the West End and Theatre District on the Thames with views of Big Ben, Houses of Parliament on one side and St. Paul's on the other.  I would then have everything required to sustain a luxurious and engaging life at the most only twenty minutes from my door.

TOD: Lago Atitlan in Guatemala was the most peaceful site I may have ever visited. The light, the color, the serenity were all magical. The lake is at the base of former volcanos and it's icy cold, the perfect antidote for a long hot day. Coffee grows on the mountain sides, so it smells as if you're living in a pot of freshly brewed coffee (which I don't drink but the love smell of). I wanna go back.

Healing vibes for all in need. It seems that, unfortunately, the list keeps growing.

Ah, yes, Anton Walbrook and Sally Gray!  Oh how I wish they would have a film festival for these two stars.  Then, perhaps, I would have the slightest idea who the frell they are.

You are in a car with several people.....Simon & Garfunkel's "Sounds of Silence" comes on the radio.....the driver announces: "This song was written about Woodstock."  And everyone in the car is impressed that he knows that....

I chose not to speak up after some deliberation.....sometimes it just isn't worth it......kind of like the day at Blockbuster when the girl in line in front of me told the clerk that Audrey Hepburn was married to William Holden when he died.....

Silly!  Everyone knows it was Katherine Hepburn.

Isn't it strange that there were two actresses with the last name Hepburn.  I have never, in all my sixty years, ever met anyone with the last name of Hepburn.

Thanks, vixmom!  The virus seems to be almost gone ( I slept a lot yesterday), but the MRSA hurts like Hell.

Anton Walbrook plays Lermantov in The Red Shoes.  A wonderful actor, also in Colonel Blimp and many other films.

I'm awake, the dogs are not.  I have things to do before auditions, one thing might include finding a pinata for the birthday party tonight.  That will take a miracle.  Of course, today is windy and very fall like. I could use more summer.

TOD - if money wasn't an object, probably somewhere in the LA area.

You don't have any party supply stores?  They always have pinatas.

I'm up (I was awakened by the doorbell ringing and the arrival of she of the Evil Eye) and most surprised to see a very gray day outside.

Sorry, it has been a great many years since I saw THE RED SHOES.  I have never seen COLONEL BLIMP, but I do like their burgers.

Good morning.  I love my house and I'm happy where it is.  I would use an unlimited budget to refinish all the floors, build a three season room on the back where the current deck is and possibly add on over the garage. A previous owner had plans drawn up to do that, but never did.

And the additions would not be visible from the front so it would still have the same look

TOD - I'll take Manhattan.  A 2 or 3 bedroom apartment with a bath and a half, room to entertain, and a balcony with a view.

As for the Topic of the Day...

A big kitchen, a nice dining room, a library, a music room (with enough shelves to hold all of my sheet music) which would be next to the piano room (with a Steinway D, of course!), nice bedroom, a full bath, etc.

As for the location of said house... In the middle of Central Park. ;)

Between fiddling with my audiobook iPod and trying to learn to use the timer on my new sport watch, I'm not really sure how long I walked today - maybe about 20 minutes?

DR Jose - thanks for the technical info about iTunes.  I think my approach was a less elegant version of what you described and it seems to have worked.
