I was browsing the list of Disney movies.  I have a number of favorites to chose from.  Going with just one, I think it is
"101 Dalmatians."

Which version?  The cartoon, or the Glenn Close version?

101 vs 102.

Wasn't there two versions of 101?

That is what I thought only the list of movies I looked at had it as 101 & 102.  I'll double check.

Looks like someone was being "clever".  They are both called 101.  I was referring to the original.

But there was a sequel to the live action film.  Wasn't that 102?

Vixmom, have you both seen the original with Charles Laughton?

never = actually I have avoided ever watching or reading any version of the story -- I kNOW the story and it was all so sad that I nevr wanted to become emotionally involved with it -- but it seems I am no longer alowed to avoid it

I assuem Disneys version will have a more upbeat ending

I need to put clean sheets on the bed, but first I need to figure out what to do about the mattress cover.  We have this nice thick soft one.  After washing & drying it I noticed, after putting it back on the bed, it has become somewhat lumpy :(
I have washed this plenty of times over the last few years we have had it & this never happened.  It is a special, somewhat pricey, item & don't want to replace.  While pricey it was a lot less expensive then a new mattress.

My favorite Disney film is BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, for 2 reasons:

1)  He woos her by giving her his library

2)  We went to see it with one of our college-age exchange students from Japan (Mayumi) and when the lights came up, she had tears streaming down her cheeks.  No language barrier there!

It was having Beauty asa book lover that makes this my #1 film as well!~

DR Jane - have you tried throwing some tennis balls in the dryer with your mattress cover?  Noisy, but it's supposed to keep quilted items from getting lumpy.

Don't know where I heard that, DR TCB, and I've only tried it once on a baby quilt.

My favorite Disney film is Mary Poppins and it was the first movie I ever saw as a child. The movie theater was called the Westmount even though it wasn't in the city of Westmount. The name was changed to the Claremont because people got it mixed up with the Westmount Square Theater. They both no longer exist.

TCB, of course you didn't scare me away. I don't scare easily!

I had a Bollywood movie to start watching before BIG BROTHER starts. I am now back as I needed to look up one of the Indian actors on the internets.

Now back to SUHAAG RAAT (1968) a romantic melodrama wherein after the first 15 minutes India is attacked by a "neighboring country." 98 % of the cast of the first half of the film is obliterated and the hero and heroine get separated, and are left thinking the other to be dead

There are some beautiful songs!

No. I never needed to before.  Thanks for the suggestion for future use.  It may be too late now, I'll find out tonight.

I got an incredible deal on some great set of hand thrown pottery dishes from a friend of my mother.  I absolutely love them all 56 pieces!  So, I had to wash them all (diswasher and microwave safe) pack up and move my other dishes and put them away.  I tried to post a picture from the website, but I couldn't get it to work.  I'll take a photo later, but the best part is the colors work so well with my kitchen and add a great blue and green that I think would look great in some small tiles as a backsplash.   I haven't seen anything I like until now.  I'm really psyched.  I'm going to go to the home stores tomorrow and see if I can find a sample of something with the colors.
