Alas, I do believe I'm too tired to dance right now, so...

How about an old-fashioned slow dance?

Well,t he red velvet cake came out OK, except that it slid a little in transition from my house to Bonnie's. Did not affect the flavor one bit, however, and five of us ate three-fifths of the cake. All in all, a qualified success and a tasty one, too.

Well, if the cake had ended up slipping and sliding apart, you could have easily made it into a batch of "cake balls" - which seem to be latest sweets craze here in NYC.  -All they are are mashed up cake with some frosting that is scopped and rolled into balls of cake, and then dipped in chocolate.

Those look sooo good!

Well, since there's a slim chance I may be heading down to DC in the morning a few hours from now...

Goodnight.

I, too, liked Mad Men this evening - in fact, for me it was the best episode of the season so far, and that mainly has to do with the character of Peggy and the actress who plays her.
